The staff were the highlight of my business trip stay. From dealing with a glitch in reservation to storing ski gear and other bags during the business trip they were friendly and more than helpful. The room is nice with coffee pod and clean bathroom and good linens. The location is good for access to downtown including late night food.

Till now we have not been staycation people but the most recent heat wave in BC, and no A/C at home, led us to seek “refuge” in a local hotel. After some research on-line we chose the Best Western Premier Chateau Granville in nearby Vancouver and we were certainly not disappointed. It is convenient for Downtown, Robson Street, Yaletown and (if visiting patients) St. Paul’s Hospital. I believe that the rooms have recently been refurbished (ours was) and the quality of outfitting and décor was great. Room was super clean, very comfortable and quiet and the A/C was cool. Shower was nice. Front Desk Management and staff were excellent and most helpful as was housekeeping. Like all other hotels service has not returned to normal yet and the attached restaurant remains closed. However, there are many excellent eateries nearby. Bagged breakfast was better than other hotels where were have stayed this year. We will return to this hotel as we very much enjoyed our stay and did not get the chance to fully explore the neighbourhood. A couple of points: 1. Although there are a number of homeless people in the general area we were not bothered by them and the hotel and the parkade below is most secure; 2. If arriving at the hotel by car there are only a couple of “off street” temporary parking spots at the front door where you can leave your vehicle whilst checking in and receiving you room / parkade key card. Would suggest best to back in and thus you are not backing out over the pavement and into traffic whilst moving your vehicle to the lane behind which is where the parkade door is located.…

I have stayed at Chateau Granville quite a few times and have given it a top rating. Recently a family member traveled to Vancouver for a concert. Her reservation at another lodging was cancelled on arrival even though she had cleared "all cash" transaction prior to arrival. She was refused at several hotels with all cash. As a Best Western rewards member I called Chateau Granville and explained the situation. The hotel stepped up and allowed me to pay for the room (deposit, possible expenses) with my credit card--something other hotels had refused to allow my family member to do. As usual, Best Western has gone above and beyond normal expectations--something I have come to see as normal for this hotel chain. I really like this hotel. Staff are awesome, the rooms are clean and affordable. The hotel itself is close to everything. We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing! I will definitely recommend this hotel for people that want to explore downtown in vancouver.

The room was wonderful and Ms. Camila and the hotel staff were very kind. My wife and I felt very satisfied with all the accommodation provided from the Hotel. The location is in downtown and the views from the room are very beautiful, it is a very convenient place where to stay, it is just a minute from Robson st.

The stay was clean, staff was very friendly, and internet worked perfectly for my work needs. My husband stayed with me and it was great that he was able to retreat to the bedroom (king suite) which had its own tv and door for privacy. There was a moment in the middle of the night where a homeless man was yelling. But despite that I would definitely come back.

The overlooking buildings are amazing and the room are so clean and the staffs are so nice they smile the whole transaction. It's just that i dont know if our booked room comes with breakfast or it has a different rate but overall is all amazing.
