Just at the edge of Vancouver's Downtown is the lovely St. Regis Hotel. The staff is first rate and the rooms, although not large, are comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast is included and there is parking for a fee just next door. The beds are very comfortable with lovely sheets and comforters. As for the bathroom, it's one of the... More

This is small boutique-style hotel in downtown Vancouver about three or four blocks (10 minute walk) from Vancouver Harbor. Perfect location for walking to virtually any part of the city. The hotel might be considered a bit pricey for some but it is a real bargain when you consider the cost of the hotels closer to the Harbor. Can't say... More

You cant check in till three, they were on the phone chasing us to leave at 12.05 (we were just at the door) even though we had spent a few thousand bucks staying there. breakfast is like a holiday camp with the most offensive looking menu I have ever seen. littered with the word OR in caps and "sorry no... Our only regret is that we could only stay one night. From the moment our cab pulled up in front of the hotel until we left, we had a most wonderful experience. The staff warmly greeted us and helped make our stay exceed any expectations we had. They were very helpful with suggestions of where to eat, how to access... More

Had the pleasure of staying at the St. Regis Vancouver 4 nights before our Alaska cruise. The room was adequately sized for a hotel in the downtown city center. The room was spotlessly clean & beds were extremely comfortable. Deep soaking tub was lovely. This boutique hotel is now at the top of my list of favorite hotels for many... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way home from travelling in Ireland for 2 weeks. We were very happy with our visit. The staff was wonderful and our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was great but the pillow was a bit high for my liking... I was so tired from travelling that... More

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect. The room was very nice and the staff was the Best, especially Brett! We received an email before hand that explained how to get to the hotel. We took the Canada Line from the airport and they told us how to do that. We never needed a car. We went on to... More

My wife and I loved the hotel and its location. The room was clean and we loved the size of the bathroom and shower. It is so quiet which was also appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. one of the best free breakfast's I have ever had.

On our recent trip to Vancouver, we stayed in the executive suite at St.Regis hotel. PROs: 1-great location, close to everything, and very convenient 2-clean 3-service was wonderful (except for a rude waiter at breakfast) CONs: 1-the room was tiny, I definitely expected a bigger room for $500 a night. 2-temperature control must have been broken, because it was always... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
