The Listel Hotel Vancouver garners praise for its exceptional value, combining a prime central location with eco-conscious amenities, like water dispensers and e-bikes, which many guests appreciate. The rooms, described as clean and adorned with art, offer a cozy retreat despite some opinions of them being slightly dated and compact. The hotel's cultural atmosphere is frequently applauded, resonating through its original artwork and green practices. While the staff's service is generally lauded for being friendly and professional, a few travelers have noted instances of inconsistency.

Arrival was good, rooms nice, everything was great. The hotel is about 800m from the heart of the city but about 75% cost of bigger name brands. Gym was good, people were fantastic. WiFi was fantastic. Good recycling and cold water dispensers for sparkling and still water on each floor.. each room has 2 glass bottles ... very classy. I would stay here again... plenty of food options close by and every evening they have a wine tasting in the foyer... nice way to start the night.

Ten girlfriends stayed at the Listel for an evening out , dinner and the theatre. We were welcomed at the front desk , provided valet parking, a porter carried our luggage from our vehicle to our room, while check in at the front desk was made easy. The complimentary wine was lovely and then the front desk called our cab. The service at The Listel is exemplary and the rooms are nice. I would recommend The Listel as a pleasant place to stay.

We stayed 3 nights after a snow storm. Nice beds, tasteful decor, great location downtown. we walked to Granville Island and Stanley Park, and took a skytrain to the Airport. The hotel provided umbrellas and directions. The local restaurants were offering a dine out special, so it was great timing in a great location.

I am so grateful that the Listel cares about the environment. Every little thing helps. There are no disposable toiletries in the rooms (only refillable dispensers), there are proper waste organizers, and they also have a water bottle refill station with still and sparkling! There are other great things about this hotel, but the green initiatives mean a lot to me.

After countless trips to Vancouver (one of our favourite places on earth), I have to say that my second recent stay at the Listel has cemented it as.. my favourite hotel in Van! The rooms are clean, the staff is super friendly and were very covid-concious.. plus HELLO, there is gorgeous art and adorable design features throughout to keep your eyes entertained. Obviously the location is a huge plus, water on both sides!! Also definitely check out Forage, it's delicious. Finally.. the best part is knowing the hotel does it's part to be Eco-friendly, every room has glass bottles for water and soda water available on every floor, the TP is recycled, they ask that you limit your towel intake, etc... It makes you feel better about staying in a hotel.. or, it does for me, anyways! Thanks Listel!

A great alternative to more downtown hotels and my now go-to for further visits. A small 6-floor hotel with its own parking. Museum rooms on floor 6 are comfortable and suitable for remote work as rooms have standard desks. Spacious enough. Amazing staff. Great room service. I was concerned at first about the ungated parking as anyone should in downtown Van but 8 days were no problem. Easy access and hotel card access back to the building. Filtered water on the floors was a nice option since we were running out of water all the time in a particularly hot week in Vancouver. Did not try happy hour with wine tasting.
Located on a busy Robson street, it is a walking distance to pretty much everything. 15 minutes away from Stanley Park or Yaletown.
Absolutely will stay again!

Discovered that there is flat and sparkling water available from the water stations. The hotel provides lovely glass bottles that you can fill with water so no plastic water bottles have to be used. I also like the environmentally friendly toilet paper and compost container they provide. The hotel does seem to take sustainability issues seriously. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It's the eco-friendly details that make a lasting impression

It had been several years since my last stay at the Listel. It's a great location, within walking distance of the West End, Downtown, Waterfront, Coal Harbour and countless food/coffee establishments of every cuisine and price range. This is a perfect place to stay if you enjoy the Robson Street vibe. The hotel also prides itself on it's "recycling green" efforts.

Our room was clean and the Listel offers daily housekeeping which is a rarity in the post COVID environment. On every floor, you have ice, and filtered and sparkling water spigots. The rooms have glass carafes for your water needs. We were impressed with the quality of the coffee provided for the in-room drip coffee maker.

Every floor and room is decorated with original art work of different disciplines.

The fitness center provides the basics for a workout. Some might describe the rooms as tired.

The staff was eager to assist, friendly and very chill. We had a minor misunderstanding (on our part) that Manager Adam quickly resolved to our enlightenment.

We will certainly return to the Listel and recommend without hesitation!

I spent a week at The Listel Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it! My room was spacious, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, filtered and sparkling water stations were available (free), and there were free wine tastings every evening. I especially loved the lounging sofa/window seat which was perfect for reading and watching the scenes on the street below. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations about what to do in the city and with calling cabs for me. The housekeeping staff was also very kind and thorough. There are many restaurants and shops nearby and the hotel is within walking distance of the waterfront. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but I did not realize that I could have asked for a microwave oven in my room until the last day of my stay. There is a Whole Foods grocery store down the street and I would have kept more meals in my room if I had had the microwave available. Overall, my experience was excellent and I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in downtown Vancouver for an event we were attending. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and they offered a wine reception that night (Friday). I actually wanted to attend but the timing was too tight for the event we had to attend. There were plenty of hangars in the closet (usually there is 2 or 3), the bathroom was renovated with separate room for the modern shower and toilet, and sink tucked in by the entry closet. Plenty of room for the two of us. There is a bar style tap to dispense still and sparkling water (near ice machine) so be sure to bring a reusable water bottle. They offer two glass carafes in the room as well for use while in the room. We stayed on the gallery floor which was nicely appointed with art pieces as you step out of the elevator on the lobby and gallery floors. The bed was firm and comfortable and the draped provided decent darkness. Our room faced Robson street but this is the quieter end, and the windows provided adequate noise buffering. The parking lot is unsecured, so be sure to empty out your car each night/day. The overnight parking rate allowed for parking until 2pm the day of checkout so we managed to fit in some Robson Street shopping after breakfast.

note - the ventilation control is on the wall. it is a knob type (like on off or auto)... if you dont like the noise, turn it off... the ventilation can be very loud (like most hotels i guess)

Hi we looked into this and cabs are a flat rate. If you check the Vancouver airport website there is a map of Taxi prices. We therefore paid I think $35 with 3 bags, which was much cheaper than shuttle rate. The website is very informative
