Great location and amazing staff. Huge king size room. Always willing to help, courteous and friendly. Not sure what else to say lol just trying to fill the character minimum. This should hopefully do it.
We hosted a three-day company event for 45 people at The Listel Hotel and the service was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. The catered food was delicious, with multiple people in our party commenting on how much they liked the food and how healthy it was ;) The rooms and conference space were very clean and comfortable. The staff always welcomed us with a smile and were very accommodating. I have also stayed at The Listel for other work-related trips, by myself, and every time the service is great, the rooms clean and comfortable. Bonus is how green the hotel is, with no single use products!
I spent 2 nights at the hotel for a short trip. The room was clean and the staff very welcoming. The location is spot on (many restaurant nearby to try). I would recommend if you want a hotel downtown Vancouver.
We were able to check into our room the morning of our convention at 8 AM. Our room was ready to go what great service. Loved the sparkling and chilled water on tap on our floor. My only complaint would be to have the bathrooms be a little bit bigger if you are sharing. Other than that we will be returning for our next stay
I can’t believe all the good reviews this place has. It’s such a dump! The whole place needs updating. Dingy, dark hallways. Old elevator. The wall paper was peeling off only to reveal mold underneath it, the furniture had stains, there was dirt and dust. We had a view of the HVAC system. I knew we didn’t reserve a room at the ritz, but was definitely expecting at least a clean room. We did reserve our room through Expedia so maybe this is what you get for a ‘discount’ (our room was $250/night) . We decided to cut our losses and just drive the hour and a half home to sleep in our own clean home.
Great hotel in a central location. Accommodating and warm staff. Spacious rooms, warm and quiet with no bad smells (a blessing). The free BC wine tasting was a fun surprise. Whilst the rooms are a little dated they are clean and tidy with displays of First Nations art and cultural pieces. The bathrooms have been updated and are stocked with nice products, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. Nice environmental touch on the re-fillable glass water bottles instead of one-use plastic bottles.
Early check in fabulous after a long flight Quiet with very comfortable beds We will use this hotel when in Vancouver The staff were very helpful with directions ordering taxi There is also a lovely restaurant attached to hotel
The hotel staff are excellent. The hotel room was really quiet. The location was really good as many restaurants and shops were nearby. We had enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the hotel's Forages restaurant as the Eggs Benny was yummy with excellent servers. My wife like the fresh coffee but my decalf coffee was too weak. The price of the meal was a bit too expensive but it seems that most meals in Vancouver were pricey. We live in Victoria so we're looking forward to our next trip to Vancouver and unless they raise their prices again, we will stay at the Listel again!
great customer service and hotel room was very comfortable with a good view - food and meeting service very good as was onsite restaurant. walking distance from skytrain waterfront station was very enjoyable.
So impressed. Ended up there after being stranded at the airport in a snowstorm. Helpful staff, lovely room, great bed. And so cool that there are two glass bottles (instead of plastic water bottles for drinking) that you can fill from two dispensers in the hallway. One for sparkling water. Excellent location downtown, in the hub. Able to go downstairs and get some food right away before falling asleep.
