This review is different from my other reviews because during the pandemic we had to travel due to essential reasons. In the past we have stayed here and it's a beautiful hotel with so much charm. The staff is always very professional and very helpful. It's in the midst of the best of downtown. So back to my other reason to write. We had to travel for reasons beyond control and who knows when things may get back to mostly normal. We had to pick between many hotels on the Gov of Canada website for the mandatory 3 day stay program until you get your results, which is very fast. Unfortunately you have to pay for 3 nights with no refund but this is our knowledge from the get go. The cost at this hotel is very good, the food they deliver 3 times a day with snacks ( which you can also order door dash or any other delivery) was great. I was very happy and they will bring you more coffee if you want or anything else in their power or they will help you to figure it out. Needless to say, it wasn't as bad as I had expected with gov reviews and other information with different hotels around Canada. If you need to book a mandatory hotel from travelling or just want to stay here for leisure or business I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here for my 3 day quarantine requirement. I were arranged to stay in this nice and comfy corner suite with great street view. TV in both living room and bedroom, bar cabinet with mini fridge. elegant classic design... Loving it. All meals are delivered on time and some are surprisingly delicious. Very nice service as well: If something needed, such as shampoo, just call the front desk and it will be at your door step... I thought about booking the waterfront Fairmont hotel instead at the beginning for it's harbor view but the prices was doubled. I am so glad I make this choice at the end. This is definitely a place I would consider to stay for my next Vancouver visit.

The front desk agent was very good! Very helpful and understanding. The room was good and the hotel would have a better rating if the restaurant would be the same value. I only had breakfast and lunch and they were not very impressive. The eggs were cold and the bun from the day before.

I wasn't able to get the guy's name in the front desk but he's actually the best. He was accommodating and friendly to my daughter, he even carried my luggages to the taxi. The white big man is the star of that hotel. Thank you! EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM HIM!!!! Food wasn't that great but still appreciated. On our first night, I found a needle like on the floor, was thankful that we didn't step on it. The concierge staff not helpful in any way. They just let you handle your luggages alone. That's a bit sad.

We booked the executive suite for Valentine’s weekend. ^Never* have I been so surprised and disappointed at an establishment’s shockingly low level of service. As a Vancouver native and hotel staycation aficionado, my boyfriend and I were very excited to finally try Le Soleils. We had heard good things, albeit from reviews written pre-covid. The highlights: -A room missing all amenities standard in a four-star hotel, except for a bible and a hair dryer. -A toilet that didn’t work (had to move rooms). -Eating takeout with our hands, because front desk claimed there was no cutlery in the building. -Another toilet that didn’t work, with zero help from staff to find a fix. We fully understand that Covid has decreased the practicality of offering certain features, and from a hospitality background myself I can’t imagine the complications, but IMO a hotel this poorly operated should not be open.
