The hotel seemed fancy and beautiful which exceeded my expectations! My family and I definitely enjoyed our 3 nights stay because the room was very comfortable and spacious with great amenities. I liked the location because it’s in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The hotel restaurant served delicious hot meals (loved the egg Benedict) which is included in the room rate. The staff were very friendly with good customer service. Thanks to Jordan as he was very helpful and very efficient to our needs. Also, special thanks to Mr. Ryan Evangelista as he was very accommodating/welcoming and definitely made our stay in the hotel extra especial. Thus, I highly recommend this property👍
The stay was amazing! The staff were all very friendly, helpful and assisted in several little requests, actually going above and beyond my expectations. The hotel's room decor has an old European feel to it and the lobby’s decor is great spot for taking pictures. The restaurant selection is also quite good, try the bone marrow!
This is an excellent hotel to stay at if visiting Vancouver for either business or pleasure. The front desk person was so kind in helping me get checked in and finding a room for me that was ready despite my original room still being cleaned. The room I ended up with was larger than anticipated which was nice. The staff are all very friendly and the amenities of this hotel are definitely on par with a four-star hotel. The gym next door was my happy place and having a lap pool was a bonus. Will likely be back!
Excellent staff, always putting in an effort to make our stay as great as possible. The hotel is not new but well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable, and the dining experience was excellent as well with the friendly ladies serving us. Overall a great experience.
Stayed here for two nights. Had high expectations and had those expectations met and often exceeded. Great personalized service. The food offerings in the French restaurant were very good and the quality of the food and the setting offered good value. The hotel is relatively small, making it a more intimate setting. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. There were some great custom touches that were greatly appreciated and our room had a pleasant city view.
Had an amazing stay at the Soleil. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home and overall there was a great vibe. Hotel room was awesome and spacious - great design and super clean. Will be back!
We enjoyed our stay! We had come from another hotel that could not accommodate us a view not facing a brick wall with no sunlight so we left and went to Le Soleil which was an excellent decision! The staff were amazing and accommodated our family of 4! We had street view with a spacious room for our family! The gym next door was great! Equipment seemed brand new, the boys enjoyed the lap pool swim. Was even given free bottles of water in the room designed almost like a souvenir. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back next visit to Vancouver
Stay at this property at September 9 When I checked in, the front desk is really patient, she gives me every information detailed, and when I checked out, another front desk is really concerned about my experience and she is really nice, it makes me feel being valued while I stay here. I really enjoy my stay here. It’s really a nice place to have a staycation before college starts.
This is a few weeks late but had to ensure I posted this review. First and foremost I have to acknowledge the amazing service provided by the management team and staff here are this hotel. They made what could have been a disastrous start to my vacation, something easier to handle. I had booked our vacation hotels using my travel reward points which are usually impossible to refund in events of issue - well it turns out our flights were cancelled and rescheduled 3 separate times and we did not make it to Vancouver until the next afternoon. This meant our first night in the hotel was forfeit. Airmiles of course could not be reached at all over the weekend, so I contacted the hotel to see if they would be able to hell with a shift in the dates (transfer my first night to another later date). They were more that willing to oblige and were prompt in their response. It was such a relief that made the initial waiting at the airport bearable (with small kids too). When we arrived, we needed extra nights all due to the flight debacle, and they made it happen with no fuss. I have to thank to team- Ligaya, Varun and Ryan for such amazing service, I will always choose this hotel every time, simply based on that. The rooms and everything else: The location is superb, right in a very safe and nice area of downtown Vancouver. Its a few minutes (maybe 5-8 mins) walk from the metro station which was convenient. There were 4 of us including 2 small children with luggage and made it there with no problems. Tim Hortons across the street as well as a convenience store and an IGA is probably about 8 mins walk from the hotel. it is so close to the water that you'd want to take a walk every day. Stanley park is a fair walk though, so taking the bus or taxi/uber may be preferred (would say about 40 mins walk with kids). Its easy walking distance to the popular shopping areas also (and a bit further to Chinatown if you dare to visit - probably not recommended). We had a great suite which had a living area with a sofa bed and a separate room - it was fantastic. Classic room design and clean. I am a stickler for clean (the type that would look at the bathroom corners) and in this case the shower was great. Some folks who prefer the ultra modern design may prefer otherwise, but this was a luxurious room. Vancouver hotels are super expensive (still cannot believe the pricing close to $500s in the summer, and that we actually paid such for our extra nights!!!). We were able to request for a microwave for a period of time because of the children, there is also a small fridge in the room. For those that drink coffee, great looking coffee machine with high end pods. The replenished water daily was also welcome. There is an attached restaurant which we did not get a chance to try, and a pool in the YMCA next door (also did not try). Overall, highly recommend this hotel, you will be treated with care and excellent service. The rooms are a bonus.…
This location probably has the best staff I’ve ever seen working in a hotel. They are kind. They are helpful. Pound for pound perfect definition of what customer service should be. The Le Soleil has now become my choice hotel in the Vancouver area. Perfect experience! Whoever handles the hiring here has done a phenomenal job! Thank you!
