Had dinner at the H lounge in the Winterlust globe outside which was fabulous ! Food was top of the line. So were the buck a shuck oysters for happy hour ! Then spent the night at the hotel. Check in and out is a breeze with the app. You can even get keyless entry on your phone with it. The bed was super comfortable and they gave us late checkout at 3.00. Love that the door slides open for fresh air too! Great part of the city to stay in.

Very pleasant check-in experience. The room upgrade and loyalty recognition was appreciated. I was able to access the fitness center and pool anytime I would like (something I haven't experienced at most hotels during COVID-19). The room was very clean. The food at H Tasting Lounge in the hotel was excellent and also very convenient. I will stay here again next time I am in Vancouver.

We had a decent stay here. I really liked the sliding glass doors that opened to the harbour. Beds were comfortable and rooms were large. I would consider staying again if the price was right. This place definitely met expectations and has all the amenities - I just found the property a bit outdated.

My stay was in early May 2020 for work. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Geoffrey our concierge at the front desk reception was attentive and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was perfect in each way. He is a credit to the Bayshore and went Above and Beyond any of my expectations. I won't be surprised to see Geoffrey managing this property in the future if he chooses to aspire to that - well done!!!

This is my 4th staycation in Vancouver during this horrible pandemic messing up our lives. All four have been for two nights. This time we chose the Westin Bayshore, as they have some great promo deals going on. Have never stayed in the Bayshore, but have attended various functions over the years. And, they have the very interesting history about Howard Hughes, 6 month stay here, in the early 70's. Our two night stay was superb. We had a tower, corner harbour room. The view was spectacular and the weather was excellent. A shout out for the excellent Customer Service given to us by Geoffrey and Andrew. Geoffrey checked us in and Andrew was exceptional for the number of times I came to the front desk for information and some assistance. Both truly represent the Marriott Bonvoy way of providing Number One Customer Service. Be aware that breakfast for Monday to Friday is not in the dining room. It is only available from the coffee shop in take out containers. And, no Westin quality place to sit and enjoy it. Aside from that, we are happy to return for another staycation. The Lounge is open daily from 3 p.m. with outside seating. We enjoyed the Happy Hour on two of our afternoons. The Westin Bayshore is located beautifully, on the harbour and adjacent to Stanley Park. We took a walk two days into Stanley Park along the seawall. The Hotel has bicycles available for guest use, with no charge. There is a two hour limit. We did not use one, this time, but a nice option to have available. The indoor pool or gym were not open for our stay. Not sure when they might become available. All Hotels, seem to be operating these facilities in a different manner. If you are planning on enjoying some wine or beverage, in your room, the rooms only provide plastic glasses. Wine glasses are not available from the bar. Overall, we had a most enjoyable, relaxing, two night stay. Still feels weird, wherever we go with all the masking and restrictions, going on.
