Well, thanks Starwood for room 253. Parked in one corner of the main building next to some machinery that droned on all night with some sort of intermittent whistling sound. The kind that makes it almost impossible to sleep. Honestly makes me think that you have no desire to keep SPG members. We could only tell this after we got...

My room was clean and well stocked, it had a beautiful view of Stanley Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in walking distance of the Convention Centre and numerous options for restaurants. Was very pleased there was a Starbucks in the hotel

I found the staff to be very attentive to my needs, they took extra care to ensure that my needs were met. I really enjoyed dealing with front desk staff as I made extra requests of them as I needed to have a bill of stay for my union.

I stayed at the Westin Bayshore as I attended a conference in Vancouver. The room was very comfortable, the restaurants provided excellent food and the walk along the sea wall to my meetings was refreshing and scenic!

always love staying at this hotel but hate that their is nothing really close if you get hungry at night. Everything downtown is really expensive, and a vending machine or something in the hotel would be great. Also, the hot tub needs to be way hotter and the pool needs to probably be a bit colder

The service from beginning to end was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, from the valet service to check-in staff and the housekeeping staff. The room was very clean and well-appointed and the beds were so comfortable. We had a great view of Stanley Park, the marina and mountains from our room on the 15th floor.

I have always enjoyed my visits at the Westin Bayshore. Venue rooms and your staff are bar none the most pleasant. I have only stayed at the Westin on business there. I look forward to the time when I can come strictly for a vacation and relax. Thank you again.

Very nice stay on the waterfront. Close to park and to downtown, can walk either direction. Found the restaurants good, reasonably priced compared to some you find the same area . Definitely like the option to skip the housekeeping for added benefits on sparwood program.

The Westin Bay Plaza proved to be ideal for the conference I attended. Not cheap but location, provision of service and amenities are well worth it. Staying at the conference venue met all our needs, dining in the evening was very reasonable, the salmon was particularly delicious. Being able to walk around the bay after a day inside, in glorious...

The location of this hotel is hard to beat, right on beautiful Coal Harbour and also within walking distance to downtown shopping! The staff are professional and incredibly friendly. The room we had was spotless, perhaps a tad dated but super comfortable. The overall feel of this hotel is top rate!!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
