Room was very large & location was very convenient, however it was not clean when we checked in & was very outdated. Daily cleaning also missed a few areas.

We stayed here the night we flew in for a girl's trip to Vancouver and the Kelowna area. This is a beautiful and historic hotel centrally located to area attractions. We must have asked the concierge 1000 questions while we were there and he was...More
Check in was a breathe but we had a problem with our Hotwire reservation. Hotel ran out of rooms with 2 beds and even though we had reservation for 3 adults we were offered room with 1 king bed and a rollaway. This made for...More
Stayed at this property for 5 nights and were very impressed by the luxury, comfort and amenities. The hotel has a great location with easy access to public transport but also close walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. The Concierge staff were wonderful, friendly...More
Location was incredible - right off Robson St. Within walking distance to all of the main attractions. Friendly staff. Water in the lobby. Breakfast good, but expensive. Valet parking also pricey but convenient. They have an indoor pool that didn't seem too appealing so we...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

That depends on how many people you are booking. The Grand Suite is great if you want privacy, a large fridge and cooking facilities. The one bedroom had a very small fridge, no stove and no privacy between the bedroom and the living room, which has a hide-a-bed, but the doors to the bedroom have glass windows and see through sheer curtains.
