Only stayed one night for a wedding in the area - good location for walkable coal harbour access. Had a corner room and it was very nice - big room with 2 walls that were floor to ceiling windows - our view was south into the city but it was still very nice. I would certainly recommend this hotel to...

We loved staying here and rave about its proximity to Stanley Park, the seawall, tons of restaurants, shopping and more. Just across the street from Urban Fare (grocery, coffee shop, hot food) which provided us with great snacks to fill the fridge we asked to be brought up (not standard in room). Room was clean, well maintained, had three different...

I have stayed at various hotels in Vancouver and the Coast Hotel Coal Harbour is by far the best. The staff were exceptional and genuinely took an interest in my needs and concerns. The hotel is immaculate and in a fantastic location. When I was checking in I was asked if I would like a room on a low floor...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the warm, genuine, friendly welcome at check in to the beautiful 12th floor room with a view of Coal Harbour. The bathroom was nicely done with great amenities and an excellent shower. The beds were super comfortable. The room spotlessly clean. The floor to ceiling windows provided bright light and an nice ambiance to the...

Modern, well-run hotel in a prime position only a few minutes walk from the attractive riverside. Also just an easy ride by trolley bus (route 19) to the delightful Stanley Park. Front desk staff were exceptionally helpful with local travel advice. Two little niggles - although well presented and good quality, the breakfast offering is over-priced and on the one occasion...

We got an upgraded room with a view of Burrand Inlet, however the 'upgrade' meant the room was smaller than a normal room but it did have a few extra amenities. Bathroom size adequate. Superb location for the shops, restaurants and waterfront

Good comfortable hotel in a very good position for shops and eateries. Very close to the waterfront which is lovely just to sit by and people watch. Also nice to watch the water planes landing and taking off. Lovely big comfy bed and large room. Didn't eat at the hotel as nice eateries nearby. Lovely cafeteria like place across the...

I always stay at this hotel when I'm in town. It's so relaxing and refreshing. I never want to leave when I'm there! I particularly enjoy the outdoor heated pool, and the showers are great, as is the overall decor. Clean, contemporary, always everything I want in a hotel. The location is great, too. Close to the skytrain (but not...

We originally had booked at a different hotel closer to an event we were attending. Because of a water leak problem at our previous choice hotel (Rosedale on Robson) we were re-routed to the Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver. First off, thanks to Rosedale for taking care of everything. (upgraded rm, taxi, parking, food credit) Secondly to the Coast for looking...

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
