Stayed here just for 1 Friday night in November with family of four. Had a corner room which was more than spacious. Location is near everything and easy drive to Stanley Park and Aquarium. Outdoors heated pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for an early evening swim. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!!!

Here for a conference. Stayed six days. Very nice rooms. They have beautiful bathrooms with Japanese toilets. The happy hour has good specialty drinks. Excellent breakfast. I had the salmon eggs Benedict this morning and enjoyed it. Staff is very good.

Extremely friendly staff. Nice room, comfy bed, clean, quiet despite renovations in the main entryway. Pet friendly too. Great location - had some nice walks at Stanley Park. Room service food was pretty tasty. I'd return.

Service was excellent. All staff cooperative and helpful. Checkout, in particular, with a large number of people at the same time, was handled with professionalism and grace. I would recommend the hotel to others.

Stayed 2 nights while at a conference. Very pleased with the room, service and amenities. Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant on site but it looked good. A short walk to the convention center. I would definitely come back - hopefully with the family next time.

Having arrived in Vancouver via an 18 hour flight it would have been nice to receive notification from the front desk that there would be electrical drilling in the room above as well as a Fire Alarm Drill the next day. Most hotels give you a courtesy "heads up" when this is going to happen. Not the Coast Coal Harbour....

The Coast Coal Harbour hotel is located in a great location in Vancouver, with easy access to the business district, the waterfront, Stanley Park, Robson shopping, and transit points. It is a top quality, modern, well maintained, and simply enjoyable hotel to stay in. We had to cancel a previous booking due to an emergency and the staff were very...

I recently stayed here during my visit to Vancouver. I was expecting the usual run of the mill hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find it works at being "Green". I had a lovely room on the 18th floor facing the harbour. The room was quiet. I barely heard a sound and the bed, pillows and linens were super comfy!...

Clean, unbeatable rate from getaroom.com/tripadvisor, good location, excellent customer service. Parking is expensive and valet only, and can get congested during rush hour. Although very clean could use updated furnishings. The mattress frame was uncomfortable at edge, towels on the thin side from age and desk top worn. Bathroom was u0dated and very nice. Bathroom toiletries are community size bottles...

We booked a room to stay for 5 nights and the pictures indicated our room would have a sitting area. When we arrived and got to our room it was not what was featured in the booking.com room profile. The next morning I showed the manager Jessica the photos in the profile and she promptly ensured that we were upgraded...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
