think i am being redundant about this hotel, but is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. love that kept the heritage of the building intact, one of the oldest and finest in vancouver. our room was upgraded overlooking west georgia. incredibly comfortable bed, amazing bathroom with rainfall shower, beautiful soaking tub. everything is immaculate and clean. the staff... I love Vancouver, it's my favorite big city after London. We've stayed at the Wedgewood, Fairmont Pacific Rim, and a forgettable Hilton during past visits. The Rosewood blew them away, in every sense of the word. We had a King Suite facing inside towards the Bank next door. Absolute quiet in the middle of downtown? Surreal, and so relaxing. Others... I have just had the pleasure of spending five days at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia and really didn't want to leave. Could have easily stayed here. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. Fantastic rain shower and separate soaking tub - pure bliss. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Wonderful atmosphere in the lobby and a... More

The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are awesome, the staff and the service is outstanding. When we needed to go somewhere the staff volunteered to take us on a complimentary ride on their Bentley. Pick up service was also available. (But not all the time). The location is conveniently located across from the shopping center, museums, and restaurants. Close... More

A truly lovely hotel with superb service. Went over Thanksgiving weekend, city group for the Grey Cup, but hotel all worked (except some issues in the restaurant--- they said it takes half hour to cook rack of lamb which came out almost raw). If I could would spend the rest of my life there.

Lovely restored hotel in a great part of town; easy to walk to restaurants, shops, museums, coffee shops - walking paths. Stunning lobby with the friendliest and most accommodating valet staff one could imagine. The art collection in the hotel is worth a visit particularly noting the Patrick Hughes piece in the lobby. One could spend a great deal of... More

The buzz was right. This is an experience, and a good one. The friendly people, from the valet parking to the turn down service is in it self a reason to stay here. I just love the breakfast meny, the very nice rooms also, the perfect bathrooms.. I could rant here. It has class, in the best way possible. And... More

Stayed two nights for a business conference. Everything was top notch, very attentive and friendly service. King bed room was large, huge bathroom area with a separate tub and shower, large screen TV, room made up twice a day. High level of amenities all over, couldn't ask for more. 1920s atmosphere maintained, piano music in lobby, separate elevators for guest... More

Everything about this hotel is great, from the location to the lobby bar to the lap pool, and especially the service. The room finishes, toiletries and complimentary bedtime snacks made the room stay pleasant. For dining, both the café and restaurant are first class. The workout facilities are great and the lap pool is a very decent size. Service was... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
