We are currently enjoying our visit at this magical place and feeling lucky and grateful to be here! It’s not our first time- we have been making the trek every year for at least ten years. Tried other places but always comes back to our favourite at Middle Beach. It’s like

This Lodge was beautiful. What an amazing place to stay. We originally were booked in the Adults only side (The Lodge at the Beach) and it wasn't for us. We paid for an upgrade to the other side (The Headlands). The rooms on the adult side are very small. The smallest hotel room

I was recently treated to a getaway by my best friend, having never been before. My friend has visited the lodge several times over the years as have members of her family. Having heard what am incredible oasis it was, I was greatly anticipating a wonderfully relaxing retreat.

The staff are very friendly. The continental breakfast and evening fresh baked cookies are very good. Middle Beach is nicely isolated and therefore, private. There is a walking trail from the beach all the way to town as well. The single queen room is very small with a bed,

Does the resort have bikes that guests can borrow?
I don't believe they have guest bikes, only staff bikes.

walking distance to resturaunts? just if we have a couple glasses of wine don't want to drive
Always fun to shop at the local brewery and get a growler if you like beer, or pick up some wine and some takeout food at one of the many excellent restaurants/bakeries/stores and make your own evening either in the main lodge by the fire or your room/balcony. The restaurant is not open every day in the off season, and it is not a 'true' restaurant where you can order things, it is a set meal that you pay for and is served buffet style. They do have the 'bar' open for the meals with limited beverages and you can also get them on other days by asking front desk staff - it is pricy this way though for what you get - best bring your own in a cooler as there are no fridges in the regular rooms either. You can ask the front desk for ice and they will gladly give it you also to keep things cool in your cooler.

Hello Leslie, Please contact our lodge at 250-725-2900 or email us at our info account and we'd be happy to verify with your reservation if it is possible to bring your pet and to make a potential reservation for Christmas Eve Dinner. Kind regards, Haley Front Desk Supervisor Middle Beach Lodge
