The staff all went above and beyond. They were helpful, friendly and no matter what you asked them the answer was always yes. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The amenities such as the hot tub, breakfast, etc were all much better than expected. Being able to rent a surfboard right next to the hottub was really nice as well. Definitely going back soon.
You can’t beat the beach location. On very well kept grounds and all units facing the ocean the BW Plus Tofino is a great option. Standard double Queen rooms are functional well equipped. With the tiny bathroom , I wouldn’t recommend to use the room with 4 . Microwave, Keurig and fridge working well in conjunction with the take away breakfast, which due to Covid is still the limited service. Exceptionally friendly cheerful and efficient service , housekeeping wonderful staff added to making our 5 night stay very enjoyable
Boooo! No restaurant or lounge with no disclaimer when booking directly from BW's website. Restaurant options are limited in the slow season in Tofino. Would definitely booked elsewhere if the hotel forewarned me prior to arriving. Of course the view is nice but it isn't the only hotel in the area with great views. Also, the buffet breakfast is pretty typical of any roadside Bestwestern. Gooey scrambled eggs, cold bacon and mushy hashbrown patties. Pretty difficult to justify the price point.
The view was amazing even though the weather did not cooperate! We could hear and see the breakers from our balcony and all the balconies faced seaward. Located on the beaches of the west coast of Vancouver Island, this is the very best, Best Western we have stayed in. It is the best of any hotel we have stayed in. The off season provided a serve yourself breakfast which was fresh and the hot breakfasts were tasty and renewed continually. We could see a dining room so assumed that in season this would also be available. The hotel amenities ran to a lovely hot tub just outside our unit and a very well appointed gym. The hotel is First Nations owned and operated and not an hour went by without a friendly smile and greeting from any of the staff. Any queries were answered quickly and the reception staff went above and beyond what we were expecting. It was also pet friendly!! We love dogs and although we do not have one at the moment, it was a joy to see so many on the beech. Dogs on hotel property are required to be leashed. The only drawback to our stay was that restaurants in the area are few on the off season and some are quite pricey but then I guess in a tourist area such as Tofino or Long Beach that is to be expected. …
A good property for families. Great location right on a quiet beach. Close to town. Buffet style breakfast included. Nice views from every room. Plenty of parking. There is a cute General Store a few meters’ walk away so you can grab a coffee and a snack.
We have 2 caged small parrots that are part of our family and were refused stay and travel with us everywhere. They said they would accommodate us if we had a dog, but no birds. This makes zero sense that I can bring my dirty barking shedding dog with muddy feet, but not birds. Soroley disappointed on the lack of flexibility
We hadn’t been to Tofino in nearly 20 years and camped when we were there last. The suite was nice, awesome view as we were on the third floor. The suite was well equipped, comfortable bed and couch with an adequate kitchenette
The ocean views from every room are awesome. The beach is right in front of you . Close to all amenities and other beaches. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean.Would 100% recommend staying here.
We had an unfortunate start to our weekend and had to change hotels last min. The staff at the Tim Wis Best Western went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Room was very clean, had everything we needed and the view was spectacular 🙂
Comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated. Quaint Westcoast feel, and can't beat the views. Every room has ocean view, and direct access to the beach. Also, best complimentary breakfast out there. Close to all ammenities.
