We stayed two nights at the Wisteria Guest House. We had room 5 with a private bath. Everything was perfect – easy check in, room right at the front with sliding glass door to a little deck and the garden. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and everything worked as expected. The breakfast was outstanding each morning... More

Beverly is an outstanding chef. The breakfast here was fabulous. The accommodation is a rustic style .. sort of cottage like. Very dated. Not really my cup of tea. The grounds are lovely, with a variety of plantings including fruit trees. Beverly invited us to enjoy the fruits (apples, pears, plums). Very lush. Enjoyed our stay. My preference is something... I attended with a friend for 2 nights for our first visit to Salt Spring, me from Vancouver and my friend from Ontario. Beverly and Len were very pleasant upon arrival, and once we checked in they gave us great a shortcut of walking directions to get to the Saturday Market! The rooms were clean, fresh sheets and pillowcases, 2... More

I was travelling from Saturna Island to Vancouver Island and decided to stay on Salt Spring for one night. Wisteria Guest House provided a perfect location. Close to all that Ganges Bay has and quiet if that is what you are looking for. Even though I only had breakfast there one morning, other guests were saying how fabulous it was... More

I am searching for a home on Salt Spring Island and knowing I would not be in my room much, my priorities were location (close to town) and price without all of the other frills. Wisteria provided both of these with the surprise bonus of very gourmet and generous breakfasts and wonderful beds. The common living area is very inviting... More

I simply cannot recommend Wisteria Guest House enough. A sweeping driveway takes you through lush gardens with heavily laden fruit trees, every imaginable variety of scented flower, fragrant herbs and beautiful flitting hummingbirds. Len and Beverly are simply the perfect hosts, Len is such a gentleman and introduces you at breakfast with a gentle well informed ease and Beverlys breakfasts... More

We rented the separate cottage which was pleasantly basic and went into the Guest House for breakfast, as this was covered in the rental plus we had the use of the lounge area if we wanted. Our host, Len and Beverley Brown were very welcoming and happy to give information about what to do on Salt Spring. We were there... More

Beverly and I really enjoyed your visit and are pleased that you feel the same. We find that, when people stay for 3 days or more, they are more relaxed and will take the time to enjoy the gardens. Our figs have just ripened and the pears and plums are ready to be picked. We tell our guests to help... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Wisteria Guest House last month and it was the perfect getaway! Just a 10 minute walk from Ganges Village, and a short drive from Long Harbor, it’s the perfect location on Salt Spring Island! We stayed in Studio 2 and thoroughly enjoyed walking the beautiful garden path to our cozy private room. We... More

We're so glad that you found us. Even though Beverly and I have separate living quarters, we still think of the guesthouse as our home and appreciate anyone who feels the same way. We were pleased to share our home with you. You are welcome back any time. More

We picked this bed and breakfast for its close location to Ganges. You walk out the door, turn left down Park Drive and in les than a block, you see a trail on your right that cuts over to the next street. Turn left again and walk to the school, through a path on the school grounds, and within 10... More

Once again, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay at Wisteria on Salt Spring Island as Len, Beverly and Kimoko were very hospitable. Thank you for staying with us again. I'm glad that the plant life and wildlife co-operated in making your stay a pleasant one. When that happens, the Wisteria is truly a magical place. More
