I only gave the place 1 star because it was impossible to give it a zero. Like a previous reviewer, my family stayed prior to taking the ferry down to Port Hardy. We took a family room. There were 2 ineffective fans which re-circulated the already stifling air. I have never before been in a hotel room where I could... More

This hotel was very nice. We stayed one night on 7/29/16. The staff was very friendly and helped us find a great seafood restaurant. Prince Rupert is a bit tricky to navigate. They also gave us a room with a view of the harbor which was extra nice. The room was clean and comfortable and affordable. It was also very... More

We came to PR because we had to, in order to catch the ferry. It was raining, just like it was 18 years ago when we last visited, when we had to in order to get off a ferry. Did it ever stop raining in between? I think probably not. We pulled into the car park and overheard drunks shouting... More

I'm sorry that your visit to Prince Rupert was disappointing although it sounds as if you were here only to take the ferry and would not have come otherwise. It is unfortunate that it rained while you were here as we have had a beautiful sunny summer for the most part. I doubt that you expect our property to accept... More

We overnighted here and had a nice room overlooking the harbor. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the usual quality for the free breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of the train/bus station and the wharf area. Accommodations are a bit rustic this far North in Canada but this hotel is one of the best.

The staff was friendly and gave us great suggestions of where to eat (make sure you go to Dolly's Fish Market for some fish and chips that are out of this world). Our room was comfortable after a long day on the ferry. The continental breakfast was what you would expect but was lacking in fresh fruit. It did have... More

This hotel has some good points and some less good points and some unique features. Let me run rhrough a few we found interesting and ignore the rest. Room choice. At least four different formats all with the same total area: 1 two queen size beds 2 king size bed and BATH (all four have shower) 3 king size bed... More

Stayed for one night, room was comfortable. We had the city mountain view which actually was the roof of the building. Friend had the Harbour side and that was much nicer. It was a bit pricey but would probably stay again.

We stayed here for one night at a very rainy time. The rooms are tired but the hotel is in a great location and the staff is friendly. A standard breakfast is available with good service. The hotel is close to Cow Bay and other attractions. There are cruiser bikes available for guests - they are complementary. There are nice... More

Virginia at the front desk made our stay. Hotel was largely sold out and we had to extend our visit because one of our travelers fell ill. She managed to make room for us doing some creative shuffling. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but is located close enough to a few to overlook this. On site laundry very convenient.... More

Our reservation got messed up and we arrived on Canada Day to a full hotel. The lady on the front desk named Virginia saved the day. She is why it's called the "hospitality industry." We can't thank her enough. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view of the harbour. The free breakfast was a nice touch. This hotel... More
