Virginia at the front desk made our stay. Hotel was largely sold out and we had to extend our visit because one of our travelers fell ill. She managed to make room for us doing some creative shuffling. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but is located close enough to a few to overlook this. On site laundry very convenient.... More

Our reservation got messed up and we arrived on Canada Day to a full hotel. The lady on the front desk named Virginia saved the day. She is why it's called the "hospitality industry." We can't thank her enough. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view of the harbour. The free breakfast was a nice touch. This hotel... More

This recently renovated three story wooden hotel is welcoming, clean and comfortable. The view from the harbour side rooms is extensive and interesting, and the included continental breakfast is adequate. The weather was cool while we were there, but there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and the single opening window is small, so summer heat could be a... More

Staff made our weekend wonderful, very accommodating. This old hotel has been renovated each floor has a theme, beds are clean comfortable great oceanview. Good location to get around, walk to Cowbay easy from here. If coming in by train/ferry you need to get a cab, very dark at night and a bit of a walk. Would definitely stay again..... More

The hotel was very convenient for the ferry terminal, less than a 10 minute drive away. We had a room with a good view overlooking the sea. Check in was quick and efficient and the receptionist was friendly. The room appeared to have been renovated, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, the toilet in our room was not quite as sturdy as... More

We stayed here for one night before taking the BC Ferry down to Vancouver Island. Room was clean and spacious, check in staff pleasant and helpful. It would have been nice to have a view over the harbour instead of the car park but we were able to sit in the lounge to appreciate that view. The area around the... More

This was a great location to hold our annual Fun and Friendship weekend for Guiding. It was within walking distance to many things. A short bus ride from up the street can take you to the historic cannery. The last weekend of May held Salmon Fest which had great food and entertainment. I definitely recommend going to the local garden... More

Stayed 2 night for a business conference in Prince Rupert. Check-in was quick and easy, front desk staff were very pleasant. The room was very clean and obviously very recently updated. There was a king bed, a large desk, a comfy chair, a Samsung TV, a chest of drawers and a mini-fridge with a complimentary bottle of water in the... More

We choose a room with a view of the ocean and could have sat and stared out the window for days. The continental breakfast had a nice selection and was in a very nice room where you could sit and relax and look at the vessels in the harbour. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint was room was a bit... More
