Nice location with a amazing view over Penticton. Good hosts and the breakfast is fantastic. They will tell you a lot about Penticton and there is a trail starting with the B & B. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. Great location to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights; rooms are very clean and comfortable; breakfasts on the terrace (with hummingbirds) were amazing - lots of fresh fruit and lovely breads; might need to wait for a bit to get into one of the shared bathrooms in the morning but we didn't find this disturbing; sound insulation is not great (we wouldn't have expected... We have made the experience that at least some of the B&Bs in the Naramata area are not comfortable to have persons with small children stay at their B&Bs for whatever reason and probably bad experience. This restriction of course you will only find out when you phone them. Regarding this B&B I would like to inform other families that... More

I am sorry that this person felt she needed to write this review. She did not stay in August as her review indicates. I do remember being asked to accommodate some small children at a very busy time when we were otherwise full of mature guests. I explained this to her, plus gave her the explanation that we have a... And here's why:The best hosts ever;beautiful scenery;breakfast on the deck; location is right by the KVR and there are bikes to use. I felt at home instantly. And if you want to know anything about the history and geology of the valley, Doug has the answers!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Riddle Road Retreat! We had just finished biking the KVR over a four day tour...that we had planned ourselves! When I booked to stay at the Riddle Road Retreat, my hubby and I were looking at staying just 1 night, but it was a 2 night min, Joyce said that after we completed the... More

This was our first trip to the okanagan and Doug and Joyce gave us great advice on places to go and wineries to visit. The b&b is very comfortable and in a perfect location. Doug and Joyce are amazing hosts, providing a great breakfast and excellent company. We will definitely come back again for another visit and highly recommend it... More

Joyce and Doug are both really nice people to be around, and their b&b is a gem! Great view from the patio over the lake and the winery's. If you're a 'wine nut' this is the place to start off from. Also really close is a very nice and quit beach and directly on the old kettle railroad track where... More

This B&B is set in a beautiful location with lush vegetation and great views of the vineyards and the lake. The home is very well maintained and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the heat wave of 40C+ during our stay, our room (the Burgundy room) remained cool and comfortable without the need for a noisy air conditioner.... More

Fantastic location, walking distance to several excellent wineries. Amazing views. Joyce & Doug are wonderful hosts, the bedrooms are spacious and immaculate. The shared lounge was perfect for us as we were travelling as a family (We had the avocado and burgundy rooms). We will definitely return when we next visit the Okanagan.

We would recommend anyone looking for a quiet little B&B in the Penticton area to seriously consider Riddleroad Retreat. Joyce and Doug were absolutely wonderful people filled with stories and history of the area. They made us feel like family and were extremely accommodating and welcoming hosts. The rooms were clean, spacious and private. The shared bathroom was also extremely... More
