This place looks like it has been there for generations and would be quite dated. However, the rooms look like there has been an honest attempt to upgrade them. Carpeting had been removed and the floors were finished with a nice clean laminate. Bedding was ultra-crisp and clean and the beds appeared to be new. Bathrooms are modern fixtures and...

This motel is great if you need to get to either ferry terminal. Pretty noisy as it's on the main road, but room was clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. I might choose this motel again if I needed to stay in one in Nanaimo as it was a decent price.

We found the heating inadequate in the room, and requested for assistance. The manager indicated it was sufficient. We didn't want to argue and we did not have a good sleep. Really poor attitude and service.

At check in, person wasn't really sure what he was doing, so there was a delay. The room was okay at check in but housekeeping not up to a good standard. There was bits of paper/tissue on the floor the first morning and it was still there 4 days later when we left. Also rubbish on the floor in the...

Cheap and usable. But in pretty poor condition. But what do you expect for the price? Smoke drifted up into our room from other units. Was a bit noisy. I would stay here again if I wanted to save money for a place to crash. However that is it.

If you are passing through and need a room for a one night without robbing your wallet - this place is it. Furniture is basic, but room is very clean. Someone on site 24-7, as they live right beside front desk. Could use a deadbolt or another form of locking device on the room's door.

We had booked this through booking.com and got misled by the reasonable reviews and photographs, same as the ones on this site, which on no account you should give credibility to! If we hadn't booked in advance with a card, a soon as we saw it and our heart sank, we would have gone somewhere else, it looked so run...

I can not believe how the pictures are misleading on here because it is not at all like them. The room was not very clean there was pee and hair on the toilet, fridge had crumbs in it, move the couch to plug phone in and there is crumbs and garbage, drawings on the wall. The room has new floors...

I would never stay at this place ever again. Upon checking in we had comments made to us about whether or not we smoked. I had mentioned that I did not smoke. The check in lady insisted that someone in our vehicle smoked, and that she could smell cigarettes on us. None of us smoked. And as if that comment...

I guess this motel is a stop off for people using the ferry to the mainland. The staff are gruff at best. The rooms are as they were some 40 years plus. The shower can run scaldingly hot or feeling cold - depending on how many people are calling on the water at one time. The direct locality is not...
