It is gorgeous hotel, spacious and neat room, attractive lobby with lot of decorations, teas... and a lovely quiet-sleeping dog. Nice breakfast start @6:30am.It is very close to Mall centre with Sears, Montana's and Cineplex.

Very nice, old but clean. One bed was wrinkled like someone sat on it, pillowcases and bed not tucked in, would look neater, no hotel binder or restaurant menu, or pad & paper , need them. Lobby was amazing for Christmas, Barkley the hotel dog greeted you , so cute . Definitely recommend. Close to lots of amenities.

My immediate reaction was, this is an accident waiting to happen as the lobby was congested with Christmas displays. When I figured out where the front desk was able to check in. MY room took 2 hours to heat up. The wifi is unsecured. Otherwise the bed linens were great and the room very quiet.

Central North Nanaimo location. Walking distance to a small mall and Montana's restaurant. Modern looking outside but Victorian inside- furnishings and decor. A small comfortable whisky bar (couches & a couple tables) off the lobby. Nice restaurant off the lobby with a limited menu - good place for a quite breakfast or dinner. Prices a bit above average. Room was...

I thought the hotel was going to be nice on first appearance, however I was soon disappointed on all fronts. The room I was given was on the 3rd floor with 2 Queen beds. The green carpet in the room was old, stained and very dirty. The bathroom was old with peeling paint. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, they...

We tracked down this lovely hotel just so I could have a Nanimo Bar Martini. By far the best martini in the province and only $10.00! Of course one can never go wrong with a delicious vodka concoction topped off with real whipped cream and toasted coconut. Love love loved it! My husband had a Caesar (as usual), his loss........

We booked one night and stayed three. This is a really nice hotel, in a good location. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are spotless. Our first room had a peculiar smell, but they moved us without any problem. We think it was the kitchen exhaust, so ask for a room away from the kitchen area. We didn't plan...

We came here specifically for the Afternoon Tea. I wish we hadn't bothered! It was $27 per person which is Ok if it fills you up......this didn't. We shared 2 'Teas' with our 2 kids as we were told they were big (plus $27 for a kids lunch is expensive) We left feeling unsatisfied and wished we'd ordered other food...
