One of the staff is going through cancer treatment and has no disability insurance. Her colleagues are working her shifts so that she has an income while she is off work! How amazing is that? And the staff are wonderful, even though they are exhausted. Make a donation to this woman.

This motel is in a great location just up the road from the ferry terminal. We purchased the room on expedia so we're fully paid on arrival. Admittedly it seemed to be a busy weekend on the island with dragon boating and gay pride. When we arrived there weren't any car parks so we had to park on the street.... More

The customer service here is next to none. They welcome you like a friend. Very helpful and accommodating staff. When we checked in we were given a bag with a few milk bones and poop bags for our doggy. The room is very basic but clean. Great shower pressure! Comfy bed. Lots of parking and there is a husky gas... More

Dog friendly. Easy walking distance to downtown park (lovely ocean harbourside walk and shops). Close to White Spot restaurant (easy walk). Rooms are dated but adequate. Quiet rooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Free parking. On main road through the city next to Husky gas station.

A basic, no frills, dated motel. No elevator. Old towels. Old furniture and carpet. I was glad there was a microwave and fridge in my room, though. And this place welcomes pets. It's in a quiet neighborhood and there's a White Spot restaurant across the street.

We arrived in late March, stayed for one night. I would say 3 stars at best. Maybe 2.5. The room was ok everything was very dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a nice little patio off of our room overlooking the back yard. It was close to restaurants and maybe a 10 minute walk to the... More

Stayed one night here after a late ferry. The outside of the building would make you think this place is a dump but it's actually fairly nice inside. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The included breakfast is basic but had lots of selections. No complaints

Stayed overnight while attending a function, so spent very little time in the room. Check in people were both pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room reasonably quiet for being on the main drag in nanaimo. Sadly room needs help NOW. Stains on carpet, chipped area around bathtub, bathroom door had odd plywood patch nailed on and painted over.... More
