We have stayed here 6 years in a row for BCFFC French Camp and love this place. They are always improving it. The campsite is clean with great facilities. We love the ice cream and coffee shop! The tall trees are beautiful, giving shade on hot days. The view is incredible. There is a laundromat, clean showers, an adult lounge... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Living Forest. Beautiful scenery, hot showers and private-enough sites. The campground is amazing with great places to take a dog and go for a jog. We are already planning next years' family reunion here!!!

After helping a friend and her two daughters setup camp here, we decided to book a few days ourselves. What a great location, so close to Nanaimo yet feeling miles away. Check-in was easy and quick and we had a lovely spot overlooking the estuary and ocean. A lot of campers were there but our privacy was not invaded at... More

The sites are very nice with lots of trees for shade and separation from neighbors. Everything is kept very clean and well maintained. It is a great place for families, with a playground, beach, and games room.

We stayed at Living Forest for a week. It is a very large, well-maintained campground. It is a huge place with over 300 sites. The bathrooms are tiled and very clean. The café has an excellent selection of panini and ice cream. This can be but for most it is not going to be a rustic experience. We were there... More

We camped in a pull through site that was plenty big for our 36' fifth wheel and our truck. The lots are well shaded but trimmed nicely to allow easy access. Good wifi is available for a very low cost. Hiking trails are good and provide a lively view of the water. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we've... More

Before you book your stay at The living Forrest, check and make sure the French Immersion group is not there, they start the morning (9 am ) with very loud chats and yelling and screaming, and it continues through out the day, they completely take over the play ground area so if your camping with children they will have a... Thank you for taking time to review our park and for staying with us 885lauralee. I'm glad that you love our park, if not the timing of your stay! BC Family French Camp is an annual late August, two week event that we have welcomed to our park for many years, and though we love the idea of participating families... More

Can't say enough about this campsite. The views, the clean sites, the clean bathrooms. The trees have been left. Discovered a whole set of walking trails in amongst the trees. Staff was great-so pleasant, always seemed to be a quiet electric golf kart carefully moving about and checking the place after dark. I like that it's gated at night. We... More

This was our third visit to this campground. We absolutely love its family friendly environment. The staff were helpful. It's a great base for day trips, such as Englishman River Falls. We definitely plan to go back.

This is a very beautiful and well maintain campground. But if you have small children make sure to book a site in the inner circle, because the perimeter sites have either a ocean side drop off or a hill side drop. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the noise level is always kept in check. My only complaint... More

Thank you for taking time to share your Living Forest experience 963bethw, and for staying with us. Sound like it was a great stay but busy! July and August are almost at capacity most nights. Having large sites and a large piece of property helps (our grounds crew will tell you just how big it is!) make individual sites feel... More
