Detailed Reviews
Clare and Kelly, the owners, are very friendly and really made our 3 night stay very enjoyable. The house is very quiet and the location is central with easy access to the downtown Kelowna restaurants, wineries and golf courses. Our quiet comfortable room overlooked the refreshing back yard pool and there are many places to relax inside or outside. Kelly’s breakfast is included and delicious, for that personal relaxing home feel, a must stay in Kelowna.

We had a delightful four nights in Clare and Kelly's lovey home with all the accouterments that you would expect in an upscale English Inn. The bedroom suites were lavishly furnished, with wonderful white bedding, soft robes and slippers, and a decanter of sherry and small sherry glasses. Everything is immaculate. Kelly prepared gourmet breakfasts for us every morning and Clare makes the best scones! We will go back!

Your review meant so much to us as our last guests for spring 2020 - with prayers and hope we will get through this virus and once again, meet up and enjoy a bottle of Okanagan wine on our deck as guests/friends once again.

We came back to A Touch of English on our last visit to Kelowna as we simply couldn't stay anywhere else! Clare and Kelly are welcoming, witty, charming and gracious hosts, and we love seeing them.
On this visit we stayed in the Hampshire suite downstairs, and like the Berkshire suite, it is spacious and very well-appointed. Even though the weather was hot, the ceiling fan and downstairs location kept the room cool and comfortable to sleep in.
Kelly's breakfasts are always a delight, and the flapjacks/granola bars are too more-ish for words.

We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked again for next year. Clare and Kelley were so wonderful as hosts. I really enjoyed the bed I slept in was just perfect for me. We stayed in the Norfolk Room with a king bed, the room was so clean and comfortable, it was quite hot and the portable air conditioner was enough to keep the room cool for us. We were very pleased with our stay. The breakfasts that Clare served prepared by Kelley was delicious and the environment at the table so pleasant. And we really enjoyed the backyard with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the lovely pool. Again I would recommend this lovely B&B to everyone wanting a comfortable place to stay while on vacation. This holiday was arranged by our travel agent in the UK so we were not quite sure what to expect as we dont normally do B&Bs.
We arrived mid afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Claire and Kelly the husband and wife owners of "A Touch of English" we were shown to our room by Claire, the room was spacious, spotlessly clean with fabulous views across the valley. The room, called "Devon" had one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. There were also nice little touches, beautifully soft dressing gowns, slippers, sherry in a decanter, toiletries and all in all it provided all you would need.
Tea, cake and strawberries dipped in chocolate were offered on the terrace which overlooked the swimming pool that had been frequented by a pair of Mallard Ducks, male and female, we were amused by how relaxed they were, they looked well content.
Nothing was too much trouble for Claire, we asked about dinner reservations and were pointed in the right direction, a place called RauDZ.
Claire also booked the taxi and off we went and I have to say the recommendation turned out to be a most enjoyable, so much so that we returned again the following night.
Good breakfast. Athough, as no choice was given, those with allergies or dislikes may wish to discuss in advance.
Would definitely return again, the personal touches trump any hotel experience.

Beautiful B & B run by the lovely couple Clare and Kelly. We felt like we were at home from the minute we walked in. After being shown to our beautiful & bright room we were welcomed with a glass of wine which we enjoyed on the large balcony overlooking a beautiful yard and pool. Since our stay was during the Covid-19 time, there were all the necessary precautions in place. A most wonderful and delicious breakfast was served in a large dining room with a spectacular view. We would highly recommend this lovely spot.

Although COVID-19 has presented new challenges to the B&B business, Kelly and Clare have stepped up to the plate and have seamlessly created a safe and engaging atmosphere. Their attention to detail is second to none, and all the while being the most gracious hosts. Always warm and welcoming, we're never made to feel that we're imposing or asking too much. AND THE BREAKFASTS !!!!! OMG, Kelly and Clare put on a feast every morning, and the table settings are as varied as the breakfasts. Also a treat to see what todays menu will be.

So many wonderful things to say about this magnificent bed and breakfast. In reading through several previous guest reviews I can see that the first class hospitality you experience is a sentiment revered by many! Clare and Kelly are both amazing hosts and a downright friendly couple that make you feel most welcome the moment you step through their door. The home is wonderfully decorated giving way to a touch of England from the beautifully displayed silver to the table linens and china. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that evening shot of Brandy waiting in your room. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The “Devon” has a spectacular view of east Kelowna with mountains as a backdrop.
Kelly serves incredible breakfasts and his granola bars are so yummy! He is known for his eggs Benedict but just as tasty is his thyme pancakes with orange sauce.
Both Clare and Kelly have a wonderful way of making your stay so comfortable that you’ll be sad to say goodbye when you leave.
The perfect example of a first-rate bed and breakfast.

My wife and I recently stayed here for the weekend. Clare and Kelly were exceptional hosts, and made us feel welcome ( including our dog). The house is clean with large spacious rooms, and the pool area was perfect for the warm weather. The breakfasts and afternoon tea were the best meals I've ever had at any B and B. Clare was attentive to every detail, and offered us great suggestions for local hikes and excursions. The drive into downtown is only six minutes, so it is easily accessible. I would love to visit here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Kelowna, and avoid the typical boring hotel experience.
