No complaints with hotel. Didnt see much of it tbh as quick overnight stop between Jasper and Vancouver. We had a suite pretty much with separate lounge and a comfy bed. No idea about Kamloops itself. Didnt look the best tbh. Staging post rather than a destination.

The pool is under some sort of construction. I was not told this upon making my reservation or upon checking in - I had found out this for myself when I got to the pool, which was full but the doors outlined only authorized access due to construction. Given it was hot, the sole purpose of my stay at the hotel was to make use of the pool. Asked the staff at reception and they just said sorry. No alternative was offered. Staff were incredibly unfriendly. Found a dirty tablecloth mixed in with my bed sheets - how is this possible? Staff were really loud at early hours of the morning and banging luggage around in the hallway. If I had a "quiet please" sign I would have hung that on my door handle but I doubt that would have made any difference. Bathroom needs maintenance. Room feels unstable everytime the trains go past, which is frequent and also loud. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Not worth the money. Go elsewhere!

I stayed with my daughters at the Signature Sandman in Kamloops while we were at a swim meet for the weekend. This hotel is right across from a lush, green and scenic park only a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Canada Games Aquatic Centre. The room was super clean and beautiful with a spacious bathroom! They even provided a white noise maker for a great night’s sleep! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing extra towels and plastic spoons! They hotel seemed full in the parking lot but was peaceful and calm everywhere else. We had a great stay here!

Hotel is right next to the train tracks, so you can’t sleep at night, not disclosed on their website. They are happy to take you money though…Room wasn’t clean, clogged sink. It is a lovely location by the river, but not worth it if you can’t sleep

Definitely the poorest hotel of the four used on our Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf journey. Perhaps there simply any better ones in the singularly grubby town of Kamloops which seems to be most notable for its down and out homeless drug users who throng the Main Street. The hotel itself was dingy and unwelcoming but if only for one night, what the heck. We’ve slept in much worse and survived.

As a regular guest who keeps coming back this is a great place to stay, This Hotel has so much to offer. Pool, Hot Tubs, Lounger Chairs, weight room, a guest lounge with sofas on the main floor with a gas fireplace just across from the check-in counter, vending machines on the main floor with pop & another that has munchies in it, 2 dining places onsite Moxies & Shark Club Bar & Grill. Riverside Park across the street has a nice grassy park with lots of picnic tables, A kids spray park (currently under renovation) & the South Thompson River just a stone throw ahead of the park with a sandy beach & new Public Washrooms coming soon as well. Downtown Kamloops offers many shops, coffee shops, & restaurants just 5 minutes of a walk. The Hotel is very modern (aprox 6-7 years). They offer several types pf rooms including some with balconies. Hotel is very clean inside. Outside & underground parking is available free during your stay. VIA Rail Train Station at Kamloops North is Aprox 20 mins away by Taxi, Kamloops Airport Aprox 20 mons away by Taxi. Ebus & Rider Express stop in Kamloops & are aprox 7 mins away by Taxi. Driving from Vancouver is 3.5 - 4 hours away by way of Hwy 5 "The Coquihalla". I would highly recommend anyone to stay here as I keep coming back, Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. Room rates are pretty reasonable.

This was a lovely place to stay overnight. Great room which was well appointed. The shower was lovely. You could really enjoy yourself here for a few days. The staff were lovely and the next day we were off. We had a lovely breakfast before getting back onboard the train.

I’d like to share the process I had to go through to make a room booking under a room block for a wedding I attended in July. I initially called in May when the room block was made. Twice I hit “1” to go to central reservations, where I received an automated message saying “nobody is available to assist you now, goodbye” and the call was disconnected. I called the front desk 4 different times (once I was asked to be put on hold and was promptly hung up on) and nobody could figure out how to make a reservation under a room block. I was told to phone back at 3:30 when the manager was in. When I called at 3:30, I was told that they were too busy to make my reservation and to call back tomorrow. When I called back the next morning, I was told that I can only make this booking via email. So I sent the email request, and I get an out of office message stating that the person taking the room block reservations is away for the next two weeks, but to please email so-and-so instead. When I emailed that address, I got an undeliverable message stating that that email address is no longer valid. So back again to calling the front desk. I finally get a woman who can make my reservation under the room block. She takes all my info and credit card number and assured me it was booked. RELIEF! The week before we're scheduled to arrive, I get a niggling feeling that I should call and confirm my reservation because I never received a confirmation email. I call, and they have NO RECORD of my reservation. They checked everything, and when I asked if I can book now, the man at the front desk took my phone number because he couldn't make a booking under a room block but assured me he would find someone who did. I never got a call-back. I called again two days later, and talked to a different gentleman who found my reservation (they had put my first name in the last name field and my last name in the first name field). The amount of hoops I had to jump through to make one room booking because of the staff & management's incompetence was unbelievably frustrating. Will I ever book here again? Not a chance. The room was fine. The air conditioning was nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small with very little counter space. There was also no door or shower curtain on the shower stall so water got everywhere. These things I can deal with, no problem. An entire staff that is not equipped to do their job and management that doesn't care? That, I can't deal with.

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked a room as a stop over from Jasper to Vancouver. It turned out to be one of our favorite experiences on our cross country trip from Quebec to Vancouver Island. The hotel was well located by a river park, and the hotel itself seemed brand new. We enjoyed our stay.
