Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with a fully equipped kitchen. We spent 2 nights at riverside bed & breakfast on our recent western vacation. We spent the day lounging on the dock admiring the secnery . They have a big bar b q that we used to make ourselves a nice dinner. I would recommend this place
We just happened onto this B and B. The room was wonderful: spacious, nice furniture, good bed. The grounds are very well maintained and have lots of places to sit and relax and the breakfasts are excellent. In addition, the hosts are friendly and helpful. they went out of their way to help us with our trailer and we really appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again.
The Riverside is well named as it located on the banks of the South Thompson River. Through the beautiful garden, you can go to the private deck on the river. We had the Coyote Howl suite that is very comfortable and well equipped (king bed, full kitchen, big bathroom, a sofa, two armchairs). Cynthia, our hostess, cooked us a very fine breakfast that we took in the living room overlooking the river.
I stayed here 4 nights and wished I could have been there longer. Both Cynthia and Tracy went out of their way to provide numerous extras to make my stay there very enjoyable! The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and the grounds are beautiful. The view of the river out of my room, as well as being able to walk down to the deck and observe it up close, made it in a very tranquil place to stay. Both Cynthia and Tracy provided me with lots of information upon my request for hiking opportunities in the area. I would return to Kamloops just to stay here again!
We stayed in the Bear suite complete with a personalized welcome sign on the door. The suite was spacious and the grounds immaculate. The breakfast was amazing. Cynthia was very personable and professional complete with chef jacket. The presentation as well as the food was beyond any b and b breakfast I have ever experienced. I will be dreaming of the breakfast for a long time to come.
