I acknowledge that this motel is cheap but don't believe any positive reviews. We were staying in a room upstairs at the back. Climbing the rusted stairs we luckily made it to the top without them collapsing. We were greeted by a full ashtray next to the door of the room. When we entered the room it stunk. The plastic flowers didn't help remove the smell. The coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The bathroom door was falling apart and would not close. Didn't bother to check if the bed was clean. We were in the room for about 10 minutes before walking out and staying in another hotel.

Well where do I start with this one. My family and I (6 including 2 young children) booked into this “motel” for a night and we were glad it was only one night. We found the fridge wet and musty as someone had turned it off and wasn’t turned back on again, therefore we couldn’t use it for the childrens milk. The basin was opposite the bathroom door and therefore you had to wash your hands in the bath before touching the door handle. Above the basin there was 4 light unit but only had 1 bulb in the socket above this basin, leaving 3 open/uncovered sockets. Luckily these exposed sockets were too high for the children to put their hands/fingers into them, however the basin was not fixed the the worktop and it moved as it was filled. Once you started to drain the basin, it leaked on to the vinyl floor causing a very slippery surface. Also the cold tap top was broken nearly in half. The only window was next to the front door and you could get your hand between the two window sections very easily. The door was extremely tight in the frame due to building movement or wood swelling and the chain lock could not be used as it wasn’t complete and wouldn’t work. The coffee machine still had the previous occupants coffee and filter (which hadn’t been cleaned) and the coffee pot was dirty, hence we didn’t use it. It was mentioned to the manager who blamed the house keeper for not cleaning the filter (and that’s all he did regarding the coffee machine) and took the old filter and coffee away, and turned the fridge on. He tightened the waste pipe and put a few buckets under the sink just in case of more leaks !! They “mopped” the floor with just a mop (no detergent, fresh water or even a mop bucket) actually they just spread the waste water around!!!! The toilet door handle was coming away from the door and we were concerned that someone could get stuck in there. This room was advertised for 4 adults but there were only 2 chairs and so you had to sit on the beds however if you sat on the end of the bed, it tipped up. We tried to see someone again on the day of departure but even though the sign said the office was open, the door was locked and nobody was around. This room cost $238 for the night which was very expensive for what we got but there were activities in the area but still we had stayed in other hotels/motels during our trip (in the same town) with much better quality and that were cheaper. Final advice - DO NOT USE We have stayed in several hotels/motels/inns during our tour of the west and this was by far the worse and virtually the dearest.

I am a small business owner. My business has me and my staff providing service all over the province of BC. We stay at a lot of motels around the province. This is the first place where i have booked my staff at and the conditions of this facility were HORRIBLE. We are not picky people. The beds were made with very dirty sheets and bed linens. The bathroom may have never been cleaned before. When we brought this to the attention of management they told us this is a budget motel and what do you expect. We expect a clean room and a clean bed to sleep in. We checked out immediately did not stay even one night. We were charged for one night stay. Should you choose to stay at this facility i recommend you get all vaccines

Amazing service and experience! The 2 people on duty helped give us a tour of the room, prepared the AC for us (even offered to move us to a colder room), AND found us a fan in their local garage. Everytime we walked around, they always asked us if there was anything they could help with and made themselves available 24/7. Great people.

Drove up to this motel at about 11 pm after 14 hours of driving. The boy who greeted us was pleasant. He told us $79 plus tax for the night (I found out after that most sites had it listed for $59.. strike 1). He gave us room 24. We walked down to our room, no light outside.. instead the light socket had been jimmied to have an electrical socket, which had an extension cord plugged into it, that was attached to a mini fridge outside our room. We opened the door, and the room stunk like cigarettes (and I'm even a smoker, and it bothered me). The beds were different, one mattress super springy, one halfway decent. One bed was on a metal frame, the other was on wooden slats. The comforters were super old looking, like stuck in the 1970s. There was a weird rose wreath tacked super close to the roof, which seemed very out of place. The curtains were loose and hanging off in spots. The doors only lock, besides the handle, was a chain. The wifi barely worked. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. The soundproofing sucked, could hear our neighbours tv all night, and in the morning the people up above us woke us up. No alarm clock in the room. None of this super bothered us.. it was a roof and a bed and we only needed to stay until morning as we were exhausted from driving... here's the problem.. When we were packing up to leave, I saw my son's prescription glasses on the floor.. I picked them up and put them on the bed closest to the window, we gathered our things and left. Fast forward 4 hours when we finally make it home, and my son doesnt have his glasses.. crap. I phone them right away, a young girl answered, told me she'd call me back in 10 or so minutes. An hour later, I called back, got someone else, explained the story again and asked if they had his glasses, lots of yelling in the background, person who answers the phone covers the mouthpiece with her finger, starts yelling, comes back to the phone, says she'll call me back. Waited another hour, called again. Finally talked to a man, who I assume was either the owner or manager. Got told that yes, housekeeping found some glasses. I went over with him what they looked liked, they seemed to match. I asked him to send me the glasses.. no. I asked him to COD me the glasses.. no. I asked him how i'm supposed to get my sons glasses back.. he asked me if I'm coming back up to kamloops, because I can pick them up.. I said no. I again asked if he would mail them. All of a sudden the glasses were old person reading glasses, and not my son's glasses at all. At this point I gave up. Had to go buy my son new glasses today. I would never, ever stay here again, I will never, ever recommend it to friends or family. Ever. Super poor customer service, super gross room, feel super ripped off after finding it cheaper.
