Run down needs renovation. Window barely closes and latch broken. Fridge isn’t cold. They painted to tub and it started peeling like crazy I had to scoop it and peel it off quickly so it wouldn’t clog the drain!!!! So shocking. And the ceiling tile lifts up when furnace turns on.

Had spent a night here with my husband. First time at Harrison and chose Harrison lake hotel for our night here. The hotel had basic necessities for a pretty good price. The person who checked us in also gave us a deal for a king size room which was awesome. The staff is all very nice as well. Thanks for all the hospitality Harrison lake hotel!! I appreciate all the things you’ve done for us to make our stay comfortable.

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. The pictures looked fine, but they don't tell the story at all. The outside of the hotel is stained and dirty, a good pressure washing would make a huge difference, but it looks like it's from more than just this season. The hallways are dim, and the side hallway on the 4th floor is slanted, which is not reassuring at all. The furniture is extremely dated and needs to be replaced ASAP, same with the wallpaper in the bathroom. Someone had apparently tried to swing from the shower curtain and had yanked out the one side, which was haphazardly glued back into place. The towel rack over the toilet was bent as well, but they used the other bar so I don't know why they don't just take it out. No hand soap was in the bathroom, which made me wonder what other things were overlooked as well....but not to worry! I found them. So. Many. Flies. Open the curtains and a bunch of flies were buzzing around, which I can see because there are no screens in the windows. Oh, and our windows were disgustingly dirty on the outside. Like barely can see out them dirty. Which I guess was ok because we looked into the courtyard and across at other rooms, which was strange, but even stranger at night because the lights on the outside of the building need to be replaced as 90% of them were flickering like at a haunted house. The light switches were all mixed up, one by the door was for a random plug in, which was also controlled by a switch by the bed. The room was so dim, until the lights warmed up and then they threw adequate light. Eventually. Oh, and SOMETHING that sounded like a loud bathroom fan was running in the bathroom all the time, we had to sleep with the bathroom door shut because it was so loud. We were getting ready to climb into bed when I saw something odd, I thought it was a black string. It was not. There were a bunch of long black hairs (I have long blonde hair and my husband has short hair) under the sheet on the mattress cover. A lot. I was grossed out so we slept on top of the blanket. The plugs on the lamps are, I don't know, loose? They don't hold your plug in them very well, and if you bump it it loses connection. Up early and ready to go! Down to the courtyard restaurant for our to-go continental breakfast..... a pile of styrofoam takeout containers on the table with yogurt, tea and coffee available. In those containers? A bagel (not wrapped and very dry), 2 random pieces of bread - a dark rye(?) and something else, every container was different (again not wrapped and hard and dry), a muffin (yet again not wrapped and hard and dry), a hard boiled egg that tasted like fish, a container of butter and a container of cream cheese. The tea tasted like fish too, somehow. We have stayed at other hotels during Covid that have continental breakfast to go, and they gave a brown bag with a juice box, piece of fruit, yogurt (with a spoon!) and a wrapped muffin. Just as much work as the styrofoam containers, but MUCH better. We will NOT stay here again and we will NOT recommend this place to anyone else. Stay away!!

My wife and I wanted to spend a couple of days in Harrison Hot Springs and intentionally avoided hotels that would have throngs of tourists as a COVID prevention measure. We had stayed at this hotel a long time ago - it used to be an Executive Inn and we had found it comfortable and clean. Well, not this time! We checked in and I chose to park in the underground secure parking, and the front desk clerk said he'd open the gate. On my way down I saw a key swipe that was for residents to use their key cards - mental note, that's handy. Got to our room and slowly saw bits and pieces of a picture that showed a hotel that was suffering lack of cleanliness, maintenance and investment in basic upkeep. We went out for a drive (smoke from the fires in the US made taking a walk impossible) on the way in, I used my card - the reader didn't work. So i decided to call the hotel. Using the key card, I dialed the number and it took me to their reservation center - no local number! Basic hotel 101 - number on key card sleeve/card. Google solved my problem and the front desk agent opened the gate. Went up to my room, my card wouldn't work! Thankfully, my wife returned and we used her card. We had to renew our cards at least 3 times in a 2 day stay! The shower curtains have a stain on it, hinges were missing hardware and a ceiling tile looked strange. They didn't have any soap - use bath wash! HVAC unit groaned and squealed throughout our stay - don't know when their fan-coil unit had been serviced. This incidentally can be a key health risk . Likewise the elevator grunted on its way - what kind of maintenance do they perform? Ok, it's COVID regulations - cant enter an occupied room, why wouldn't they place coffee and amenities for the length of stay..they have our reservation , right? Enough said - take a look at the pictures and make your own judgement! Staff were polite - feel bad for them!

I honestly could not be more disappointed. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and this was by far the worst. The room and whole hotel were disgustingly dirty. Continental breakfast was a joke. The hotel was just so run down that it seems like nobody cares about it. I feel sorry for the staff working there as the owners obviously don't care. We were told the hot tub and sauna were closed as they were being fixed. If you go and check older reviews, they have been broken for years and then they lie about it. Do you not care about your business??
