We spent five nights at the beautiful Holmesdale House B&B in the blue room. The room is spacious, bright, very quiet and clean with a super comfy bed. Every morning we enjoyed the creative and delicious breakfasts which Cassandra lovingly prepared. She was accommodating our schedule and very helpful with local advise. We would certainly stay there again. Eva and... More

Enjoyed the peace and quiet and lovely breakfast. Stayed in the queen room and loved the bathroom. The room was spotless. I didn't get to try the hot-tub. TV was small and had limited channels but i didn't mind, but some might. WIFI didn't work in the room and I needed it to finish my work--however it is a problem... More

We had read all the great reviews about Holmesdale House Bed and Breakfast when making reservations and after 4 wonderful days and nights we are happy to say that it met and exceeded our expectations by far. Nice, clean, immaculately decorated in its original antique way my family and I had a very comfortable stay here enjoying the trip back... More

This B&B was a great choice for us. It is a vintage home with thoughtful updates, situated a short drive from the downtown. Parking was fine. Neighborhood safe and residential. Our room was comfortable and squeaky-clean. The bed was just right. There was a window AC, welcome on hot nights. The owner is friendly but not obtrusive and had excellent... More

Our stay at the Holmesdale House was everything we could want: immaculately clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, and a first-rate breakfast! The hostess was attentive, but didn't hover, and she made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. My husband and I are early risers, and I appreciated being able to... More

The B&B, in a historic building with well-kept flower, fruit, and vegetable garden, is beautiful inside and out. It is very comfortable, quiet, and private. The location is convenient to amenities, to town, and via the nearby Trans Canada Hwy to other points of interest on the island. Breakfast is varied and excellent, based on plenty of local and even... More

Thank you for writing a review. It is so very helpful to everyone. I appreciate your mentioning the stairs because we always try to make our guests aware that this is an historical house and can't be modified for handicapped accessibility. The occasional guests who use a booking service instead of connecting with us directly have missed this very important... More

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay in this beautifully renovated historic home in Duncan, unfortunately for only one night. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated and Cassandra, our friendly hostess had thought of everything to make a guest feel at home. As well as the usual robes and slippers, Cassandra had included exercise equipment for our use,... More

Sadly we just stayed here for one night. Spacious, clean and comfortable host. The owner is very welcoming and has lots of good suggestions for things to do in the area. Would definately recommend staying here if you're travelling to this part of Vancouver Island!

First we were met by the hostess of the establishment. While showing us our room, she explained the historical significance of the house, within the community. Our sleep was very comfortable, choosing the room with the king sized bed. Breakfast consisted of a starter of fruit and yogurt, with a main course of french toast, along with fresh home made...
