For my first trip to the Yukon and Dawson City I was glad I picked the The Eldorado as my base for exploring the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining what to see, where to go, and how to get there. The restaurant and lounge at The Eldorado both had great food and the service was great.... We stayed at the Yukon Hotel in Dawson City for 5 nights as we were attending a wedding. We fell in love at the first sight of the building. We had a first floor room which was spacious, spotless and very well appointed with a kitchenette. The bathroom was modern with fluffy towels which were changed daily. There was no... More

A Historic building in a Historic town, the room was quite nice considering the age, the bar was everything you would expect (in a good way) for a classic Yukon experience live entertainment and all. definitely recommend everything about the hotel.

It's a great location in the heart of town and the convenience is increased by the in-house bar and restaurant. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped and every staff member I met was quite friendly.

We had a great roomy suite that was perfect for a 4 day stay. Lots of room, very quiet and very relaxing. Awesome restaurant serving great breakfasts and "big city" type dinners that you would not expect that far north. The staff was very helpful, 1 person in particular, and gave us a hint on panning for gold. We got... More

Except for all the stairs this is a very good Hotel to stay at right in the center of town. All what we saw looked fairly new and very well maintained and clean. The Staff went above and beyond with their duties and were super friendly. Enjoyed our 2 night stay and others should think about staying here.

Great location; walking distance to bars, shops, restaurants. Lots of parking across the street in the hotel's own lot. Room was large, had a mini-fridge and coffee maker. Not fancy, but clean and quiet at night. Secure with friendly and helpful staff. Very effective black out blinds if the midnight sun keeps you awake!

Great central location and a clean, well maintained hotel with friendly front desk, restaurant, and saloon staff. Room was large and well appointed -- even had a jacuzzi (but we didn't use it). Only drawback to the hotel is there is no elevator or ramp to second floor rooms -- makes packing a suitcase upstairs difficult.

The hotel is right in town, walking distance to almost everything. The place is quiet and Clean and the front desk staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Our AC worked very well and we liked that we could use the laundromat services right in the hotel instead of walking out to the local laundromat.

I stayed at the Eldorado's Yukon Hotel over the weekend, and although it was quaint, clean, and fairly well appointed, it had no airconditioning. When I arrived, I should have turned around and left as the room was about 100F. There was a floor fan that simply churned the hot air, and by the time the evening rolled around, the... More
