Was a very nice, clean hotel. Fit 6 of us in it. Had 2 beds (1 King, 1 Queen) and a pull out couch that turned into a bed. The staff was very polite to us. One employee showed us the room before we booked the room. We had a kitchen in it. They were very comfortable beds, (even the... More

The price was great, room very clean. We actually got upgraded for no extra charge for two nights! Food was great, walking distance to everything! The hot tubs outside were nice especially since we were the only ones in them! We would definitely go back again!

Had to stay here one night as we had booked ahead without knowing how crappy this place was and we got in late and were very tired. The room had a foul smell soon as we walked in the door. Went into the bathroom to take a shower and there was black coloured mould beside the tub from the shower... More

Very comfortable and convenient, close enough to town to be able to walk in comfort in 10mins. Staff very helpful, required a kettle and an early morning taxi, both attended to, no trouble at all. For us probably the highlight was witnessing a herd of elk walking the streets during a meal in a restaurant opposite, well worth the stay... More

Adequate accommodation however like everything in Jasper, extremely overpriced, and the additional state charges that are sprung on you at checkout leve a bad taste in your mouth. I know these charges are not charged by the hotel, but it would be nice to know the actual grand total price upfront, rather than the price plus this and plus that.... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your recent stay at the Tonquin Inn. We apologize for not providing you with an enjoyable stay. Our family booked 3 different types of rooms: a single, a double with sitting room on a lower level, and a suite with 2 queen beds and full kitchen. They were all satisfactory and check in was easy. Parking was adequate. The location was convenient to walk into town.

This was a perfectly fine hotel. It is not overly modern, but the decor and facilities are clean, comfortable and attractive. Whereas some older style hotels can be a bit icky or run-down, this hotel was definitely not so. The hotel is on the outskirts of Jasper (which is a very small town), so the walk to Jasper's main part... More

Interesting building. Looked like a few small motels jointed together by connected by stairwells. Staff on reception were helpful and made you feel welcome. Room looked refurbished, nicely decorated, clean and spacious although not too much in the way of storage for clothes. On site restaurant menu was reasonable was well frequented at breakfast and evening meal. We were give... More

We booked 2 rooms at the Tonquin Inn for a 2 night stay the last week in September. We are a couple in our mid 50's and we travelled with our son and his girlfriend in their mid 20's. Both rooms on the 2nd floor were clean, comfortable, allowed for quiet night sleeps and had views of the mountains. Yes,... More

We came to Jasper for the first time and stayed at the Tonquin in a room with a separate bedroom and a balcony, sounded perfect...it was so cold we had to have space heaters brought up, it was outrageously loud all night long, and the wi-fi was almost non-existent. We would definitely stay somewhere else next time.
