We stayed here for two nights while on a tour of the Rockies with Great Rail Journeys and thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved our Queen Deluxe room which was spacious and stylish - the twin beds were also very spacious and comfortable.....which was appreciated as we were still struggling with the effects of jet lag!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, it is in a quite location away from the town centre, which we liked - walking into the centre was enjoyable in itself.

I'd have given it a 5/5 rating if it wasn't for the fact that we settled our bill by cash prior to an early morning departure to catch the Rocky Mountaineer and were subsequently contacted to advise that we hadn't paid! I'm pleased that this was resolved....and would love to give them a second chance if we are fortunate enough to be able to visit this amazing country again.

Thank you for the lovely review. Indeed - we clearly recall this unfortunate mishap, which most definitely was an error on our part. Kindly accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

We planned to take the shuttle bus to Lake Louise on 5th Oct. The pick up time was 14:25 but we mistook it for 14:45...When we returned to the hotel the bus has left with no doubt. The girl from the reception was very smart and she quickly decided to ask the hotel service man to drive us to the train station, because that was the last pickup point of the shuttle bus. The gentleman soon came and made his best to drive us there as soon as possible. He was very supportive. Thank God we finally caught the bus! We appreciate their help so much.

This hotel is clean and well maintained. It is located in the end(nearly) of the town so it avoids light effects to some extent. This is an advantage since Jasper is one of the famous dark sky preserves around the world which makes it as the best place for stargazing. And due to Jasper is a very small town so everything is within walking distance. The hotel self is a ‘transportation hub’ for visitors. If you take shuttle bus between Baff and Jasper, this is a drop off/pick up point so everything is convenient. Definitely recommend!!!

This hotel was very comfortable, but the decor was a bit dated and it is a far walk from town. Definitely have a car available to drive to activities or be prepared to walk. The rooms are large though, which is great!

Thank you for your kind review. The hotel is located an exact 1,000 metres (0.6 mile) from the town centre, roughly a 20 to 25 minute walk, or a $8.00 cab ride. The hotel was recently closed for 9 months to allow for a complete renovation of all guest rooms and new entrance way. We are most disappointed these recent upgrades did not appeal to you. We wish you a safe journey through Western Canada, and look forward to your return visit to beautiful Jasper National Park.

The hotel has a comfortable ambiance, our room spacious and with stylish decor, enjoyed the "faux fireplace" made the room feel cozy after a long chilly day. The hotel is within walking proximity to town for shopping and eateries. Front desk is very helpful and professional. Love the fact the room had a microwave, sink and fridge! Hotel does have a restaurant! Definitely would stay at this hotel during my next visit to Jasper!

Fantastic setting on lake Beauvert with some of the best views imaginable. Great lodge, restaurants, and top notch service. We went for a walk around the lake, and the large bull elk and his harem were as surprised to see us as we were to see them. We backed off respectfully and all was well. I highly recommend this beautiful facility, and their attentive staff.
