We spent three nights in cabin O with deck looking out to the woods where we heard an elk bugling. Returning one evening from touring, we encountered a cow elk munching on the grasses in the resort property. I’d especially recommend cabin O because of the tasteful finishing inside, designer tiles in the bathroom, stone fireplace and wood trimming. All the cabins are wood, but not all log. The location is across the road from the river on the banks of which the resort has placed Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the Athabasca flow by. No restaurant or kitchen in this cabin, but we had breakfast on the deck and easily found restaurants, treating ourselves to dinner at The Jasper Park Lodge. A great base for seeing the environs of Jasper, and 3 nights was a perfect length for our sightseeing which included hikes and a walk up to the glacial pond on Mt Edith Cavell.

Stayed here on a 2 night break - we were in cabin # 35 which is classed as an executive 1 bedroom cabin - it’s a gorgeous cabin that if I could I’d relocate it to my garden lol. Check in was efficient with a knowledgeable friendly lady. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a great eating area, a nice open living room with a comfy chair & sofa, a tv and a wonderful log fire that also opens into the bedroom which has a very nice king sized bed that had soft sheets, a spacious bathroom with a double head shower and a unique stone sink, there’s also a large deck with patio set and charcoal BBQ. Everything felt / looked super clean and if you’re feeling flush I’d recommend a stay here. I just wish it was open over winter.

We stayed in an Executive One Bedroom Cabin as a bit of a treat and absolutely loved the accommodations. We read the covid .pdf document in advance and decided to bring some extra pillows from home for maximum comfort. The cabins are beautiful, very clean and looked after, and well appointed. The whole cabin smelled like cedar when we entered which was AMAZING as this is my favourite scent! We were able to park right at our cabin and we backed onto the forest at the back of the property which was very tranquil. I loved the sink in the bathroom, the heated floor, the large windows, and the living room area with a comfy chair and sofa. We also loved the outdoor seating area and appreciated the available seat cushions for added comfort. We didn't receive the wood delivery but it was ok because we opted not to have a fire anyway. We didn't turn the TV on once so I can't comment on that. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay here and would definitely come again.

Our cabin was simply fantastic. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, the layout of the cabin was awesome and all the precautions that were in place made feel us totally safe. Also, the cabin was gorgeous and so close to downtown but at the same time located in a nice quiet spot in front of the Athabasca River. On our first day, we had the opportunity some elks right beside our cabin. What a great experience!!

This is a great place to base yourself if you are staying in Jasper. It is slightly outside of town, too far to walk to the shops and restaurants, but mercifully secluded and quiet. The cabin was very comfortable and tastefully decorated on a woodsy theme. Be sure you know what you are booking. We realized there was no stovetop or bbq pit, my fault for not paying attention in my rush to book at the last minute. The kitchenette did have a fridge, a tea kettle and a microwave, and they gave us a toaster on request. They also kindly gave us a free fire starter kit, and we did a bbq at one of the nearby parks. The back deck was really nice, with Adirondak chairs and a small table. There are also chairs spaced out along the river bank for guests to use. The staff are taking the COVID protocols seriously, so no housekeeping unless there is a particular problem. You can request extra towels and bed linens. The only problem we had was smoke filling the room when we built a fire in the fire place. That may be because we didn`t have a clue what we were doing, or the chimney might have needed sweeping or something. It is a bit pricey, but that`s the story wherever you go in the Rockies. However, it was worth the money.
