Located just outside of Jasper townsite and close to SO many outdoor sightseeing spots, this clean, away-from-traffic-noise site was great. Some sites are river-view, there's a separate area for tenters away from RV noise, special RV areas, and several reservable sites. Firewood included. Drinkable taps on site. And flush toilets on site? WOO HOO! Couldn't ask for more.

We went on a camping trip with family - we had 3 campsites for 3 nites. Price was very reasonable, campsites were clean and washrooms were spotless with hot water! Nice trails to walk on and overall had a great time! Booked through Parks Canada Reservation service and checking in was seamless!

We stayed here for two nights with our two small children. We absolutely loved Jasper! If you've never been to Jasper, the campsites are not spectacular, they're just a place to lay your head at night - a base camp to explore this amazing park. We had a bad experience with the park staff. When we arrived they told us... More

Our family camped here for two nights in July. The online booking was easy, check-in was very easy, and the campsite was clean and well-maintained. Staff were helpful in directing us to some of the interesting things to see in the local area, such as Edith Cavell (mountain) and the Athabasca falls. Would definitely stay here again.

very friendly staff, nice sites and a lot of (black) bears around. it was my 1st stay at jasper NP, but i would always choose this camp for the next time. there are not so many RV's and mostly young people. it's a quite and cozy place and not like whistler (which i checked before)

The road to Wabasso is a bumpy one but it's a great campsite and a great experience! Beautiful, quiet and in the middle of mother nature. I can really recommend this campground! Washing facilities are basic but clean and warm.

We got a last minute tent camping site on the B loop- last available site, so expectations were low, but it turned out to be perfect. The trees are a bit sparse at this campground, so we could see fellow campers, but our site B15 was backed by the lovely Athabasca River just a few hundred feet away, and walking... More

Spent four nights camping. Camp ground has running water and washroom facilities. The view of the river and surrounding mountains was spectacular. There are no showers onsite, but not needed if you are roughing it. Fire are allowed with a permit, $8.80/ night.

Great thing about Wabasso is location. 15 mins from Jasper, so close but not too close. You will definitely see your fair share of wildlife around here. Close to a few good hikes to. Campground is clean, friendly, well kept, and quiet. Great trails through the campground as well. Will definitely return.

Was excited for this campground and came with an open mind. Sadly, the campground had very little privacy, sites left a lot to be desired. The trees where sparse and provided no shade or privacy. Bear at the campground and there was not much concern from the park rangers of its presence near sites. Fire pits where limited most were... More

Best suited for tenting, and motorhomes and trailers under 27 feetWith pristine views, rushing river water and electrical sites for small RVs, Wabasso lets you get away from it all, without getting rid of it all, so bring your rice cooker and your coffee maker! This quiet campground is tucked away on the 93A, a secondary highway offering excellent road biking opportunities, particularly in the fall. This is a good staging area for overnight treks into the backcountry and shorter day trips to Moab Lake and Athabasca falls.
