As others have mentioned if you want to stay in a very very large RV park this is for you!! I will say on the plus side is that although it is a large site it doesn't feel like it the pitches are a very generous size. I will say though that one toilet in the gents isn't enough as... More

We visited Whistlers Campground in September during the elk rutting season. The bull elk could be heard bugeling everyday and elk wandered through the campsites each morning. We have a large motor coach and found the site plenty large with a lot of privacy and space between sites (We were in 62F). There is a spacious multi port dump and... More

Massive campground, lots of great sites. I stayed in loop 66, in the back. So many elk, and they are fearless. Nice trails through park, and about a 3km hike into Jasper. No highway noise in the back. Bathrooms were clean, but park could use another shower building, as there's only one for the entire park.

We got a tentik. It was cool. Even though the weather was chilly, we were still able to have a fire and then keep warm inside the small cabin-like structure. It was great because it still felt like camping, but without the stress of having to put up a tent. Remember to bring sleeping bags or blankets and pillows. The... More

We stayed for 3 nights. It was very cold at night. Bring warm clothes. Huge Campsites compared to other National Park Campsites. Friendly staff. Really clean washrooms/Showers. Very close to the Jasper Sky Tram and not far from the town of Jasper.

We stayed in a site with our trailer, that had electricity. The site was actually quite large. The fire pit got used a fair bit during the August long weekend that we spent there as it was a little cool (as is expected in the evenings in the mountains). You had to take some time to sort through the wood... More

We arrived and it was all fully booked, queues of people trying to get on site. We were given an overflow site with no services. Overflow was outside Jasper so not easy getting in and out of town. Beautiful setting though. Stunning sunset.

Most parking places have no water, electricity or dump. The campground is in the forest. there is a river in the campground. One morning we saw an elk eating grass 2 meters from our motor-home. Bring warm clothes in the summer as well.

This is my second camping experience in Canada and first planned by myself with my wife. I will love to say my planning to choose this camp ground paid off very well. I had few options left to select as this is a popular camping destination still i was able to get unserviced site with pit. My site was 9j,... More
