We visited Jasper in early June. Although the campground was full the camping experience was very enjoyable. The sites were a good size and well spaced out. Facilities such as bathrooms and showers were kept quite clean.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Nice treed spots that were very clean. Tons of wildlife. Elk were wandering through the sites eating grass and didn't bother us. We had a resident woodpecker that liked to look for his reflection in the hubcaps and a friendly little marmot that came to visit every day. Would highly recommend this campground. Lovely views... This campground is located in the breathtaking Jasper mountains. It features campsites surrounded by nature and wildlife, shelters, firewood, and toilet and shower facilities. Definitely a great place to stay. Be sure to bring warm and waterproof gear.

Lovely secluded spots. Beware of the elk! Fire wood in plenty. Shower block quite a walk from our campsite. Only downside was when it rained a lot! But otherwise clean and warm. Generally tidy. Could do with a few more signs as got lost twice but great site generally and would return!

We don't have an RV and so just go basic tent camping. Although the weather didn't cooperate and rained the entire time, the campsite itself is well run and organized. The washroom facilities were actually very nice with flushing toilets and running water, and in the mornings are cleaned- even on weekends. The only downside is if you have 2... More

Had booked a NP in advance and o boy it was worth it. It's big and full of wild nature, emu, birds.. en maybe bears at night. Had good neighbors, had a beer and a laugh. Sanitary as well as a common NP can be. Hot (too hot?) showers and washing facility. Enough wood to start a fire till christmas,... More

This place is huge. And pretty much full, so I guess they are just trying to meet demand. Our biggest critique is that there was just one shower facility. It was a 10 min walk from our site. My husband, son, and daughter all showered and said they had to push the button every 3 seconds to get water. I... More

We camped in Loop 23. The campsites are a good size but not overly large. The park provides firewood to encourage use of local wood (avoiding external pests). Each loop has its own washrooms, water and garbage. Showers are clean, free and centrally located and we drove to take showers. When I return, I will try to get a campsite... More

The campground is a typical provincial campground. We reserved in advance but there were no electrical or water when we did that. We were on the side that had no power but generators were allowed for a hour and half in the morning and again around the supper time. The space was a good size for the RV. There is... More

Nice stay once again EXCEPT Parks Canada needs to wake up and fix some potholes in this campground! Showers were so-so however with that many people using the facilities kudos to the staff for keeping them as clean as they could. Biggest complaint is all the looser people getting in the elks faces! Leave them alone or shut up when... More

Thanks so much for acknowledging our hard working cleaning staff. We often hear how impressed our guests are with the cleanliness of our facilities. They are a great team and often make us proud! As for the potholes, we are continuously working on maintaining our roads in the campgrounds as part of a long term plan to improve them in... More
