Great location, nice rooms, very good staff. After a long day and you don't want to drive any further this is the place to stay. Yes, it is the only choice but it is of a high standard. Wish the restaurant had higher quality food.

The room itself was functional, pleasant even, but for the price it's just a low value proposition. We stayed because we wanted to see the glacier at night (sadly, it was raining) and to get on the first bus to the glacier before the swarms arrived. A couple things that bumps this property from a 2-star to a 3-star: I... More

Limited view in room, only from 1 armchair view to glacier. The 2nd armchair provided no view at all. The bathroom got all the smell from the kitchen via the air ventilation, bathroom was stinking of french fries and barbecue.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in early September. This was our first visit to Jasper National Park. We were four adults with a senior and a young couple. Amazing location ---> First, the location is unparalleled. It is located right in front of the Columbia and Athabasca icefields. We had excellent views of those icefields from our... More

It was alright. Too expensive for what you get. No cell service, limited television and hard to get hold of front desk.Room itself was ok. Nothing special. The view is spectacular but request the glacier side as opposed to mountain side. Restaurant is way OVERPRICED. And the foods is not that fantastic. Overall , it is not the greatest but not... More

Good morning 366cheryld, Thank you for your feedback on your visit with us at the Glacier View Inn. Being in the middle of the Canadian Rockies and on one of the highest peaks in the Mountains we are a little more unique then most locations. An example of this would be not having any cell phone service in the area.... More

Room offers great views of the glacier and mine had an upper deck with king bed. Kettle for boiling water is very clean. They have an observatory outside the cafe where you could take some nice pictures of the glacier. Bed is comfortable too. Cafe provided buffet for my tour group and in my opinion, the food tastes quite decently... More

The cost is a bit high, you would expect a little better quality but considering the location you really didn't have a choice. That in mind, it was still a nice a hotel with a fantastic view. Too bad they didn't make bigger windows. Each room has loft so that is cool if you have kids. The shower head when... More

Excellent location opposite the Athabasca Glacier with wonderful views from some bedrooms. Extremely busy during the day as building services as Icefield Centre too. Restaurant average but again lovely views. Good stopping point for one night on way from Banff to Jasper.
