Very good value hotel. Staff are great and friendly. Rooms were clean. Shower was hot. Beds are firm. No breakfast but when you pay under $100 you should expect it. Location is on main drag so easy to get around. It’s a place to stay at. Hotel is mostly filled with workers.

Room was small and we had issues with the tv. Bed was small but comfortable. Bathtub was nice and big though! Was a little outside of town and seems popular with road work crews. But other than that really good experience.

Terrible hotel. Location is near a road used 24/7 by LOUD trucks. Checked in and went to my room. All I could smell was 3 or 4 day old urine. I was able to change rooms. Both rooms had holes in the bathroom door not all the way through. My 2nd room obviously has been used and abused. The bath tub/shower needs some serious work. The plaster is broken in the corners. See photos. I will not stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel a lot over the last 3 years because it is reasonable and usually clean. Not so right now, stayed a week, the bed was never made let alone sheets changed, had to get the night clerk to get me garbage bags and towels twice. complaints were noted but nothing changed. Was even told by one desk clerk there is no housekeeping staff on weekends. How can you run a hotel with no housekeeping staff?.

Checked in on a Saturday, asked for no smoking room. Great received that but the entire floor was filled with cigarette smoke once opening the stairwell door! So you smell like smoke going into room! The stairwell dirty, the room bathroom door holes! The loud slamming of doors people in stairwell all night in and out, loose dog running in hallway at 230 am to kids playing knock and run like it’s their own home! I understand being evacuated due to wildfires, and government paying hotel stays. But to treat rooms, outside, stairwell like it’s their home and no respect for other’s disappointed! This is no fault of the staff! When I did complain I was moved to another room ( senior ) wing! I’m thankful for! As I did get sleep! Dogs chained up outside to trucks no owners to be found, to staying on ground floor and my screen was trying to be taken out. Again the cleaning staff amazing I would give them 5 stars for effort and trying to keep up with the disrespect of others! The lady supervisor appreciate to switching me rooms! During this time I would not recommend this hotel in GP and I would not be going back! 3 nights I paid for the first one should of been free after everything. This did not happen! Good luck if this is the only place you can stay ! For me it was pet friendly long weekend short notice . Or I would of checked out! First night felt safer in my car to sleep as well as I did not use the elevator!

This was the second time and more than likely the last time I will stay at this motel. The first time they looked at me with amazement when I asked for a wifi cable connection.They said they ran out and asked do I expect to have cables for every room.The second time....I have a TV,but its broken. No hand soap because they ran out. If you don't mind hauling your own TV and bringing hand soap...sure,stay here.Worst place.

Our intention is to have each and every guest thoroughly enjoy their stay here with us, as we do take great pride in our staff and hotel. We have been in the very lengthy process of replacing many of the guest room TV's, and I am truly sorry for the tv being broken in your room, and not replaced quickly. As for the hand soap not being available, due to longer inconvenient back orders on those items, we have started ordering double orders on amenity items, to prevent against running out or low on supply. Thinking of relocating to Grande Prairie and used trip advisor to search hotels. Warm greeting and great rate. Free Internet but did have to ask for the Internet cord as I forgot mine. No wireless Internet. A great place to stay. Just what we were looking for. Definitely recommended.

After driving all night with my husband, kids and brother-in-law we decided to get a motel at lunch so we could all get some sleep before visiting my father-in-law in the hospital. First we got to our room and there was nothing in there, half hour later she came with the coffee, coffee maker, hair dryer, cups, internet cable, etc. Isn't this suppose to be in the room already? Well trying to get a 1 and a 2 year old to sleep in the same room is already a task, but I did it! Yay they finally fell asleep until housekeeping came around!!! I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign out on the knob and everything. The ladies were yelling at eachother from what sounded like one end of the hall to the other! Here I'm getting nervous, so they keep yaking right in front of our door. My youngest starts screaming...they leave. I was so upset!! I called the front desk expecting her to do 'something' to make me feel better. HA she says "what am I suppose to do about it?" are you kidding me?!?! What is that sign good for? We were on the main floor and that night we all laid down to sleep and not joking we could hear the water from the room upstairs toilet flushing running across our heads!! Besides the room being extremely small, we got through the night and left the next morning to find something else! We expected better quality from the motel (and staff) for being one of the newer ones in GP.

Room wasn't ready when we checked in. Then the second day, our room wasn't cleaned when we got back at 5pm AND neither of our keys worked to get in. The manager was rude, and confrontational instead of just taking responsibility for their lack of staff. "Sorry we weren't fast enough for you".
Secondly, they advertise a pizza place on the keys. I called several places, and that is the only place that I called that charges for delivery to this hotel.

Good morning Kelsey B My apologies for the issues that you experienced while you were here with us. When I spoke to you that day when you called the desk, I apologized for the late service and explained that our housekeeping staff was running much later than usual, as we were short-staffed (due to staff sick calls), and a full house, and many rooms required deeper cleaning as they were pet rooms (here for the same Dog Show that you were in town for). The staff was here until 7:00pm that night, and unfortunately some rooms were not able to be serviced until late. Our Head Housekeeper did come to your room to service the room that day, but you declined. Our regular day-to-day housekeeping service policy is to have all rooms cleaned and completed in a timely fashion by early afternoon, but some days due to unforeseen circumstances, our service hours run late. I am sorry that this issue so negatively impacted your stay with us. I do sincerely hope that you choose to return to us, as you will see and experience much better stay and service the next time!
