We've stayed at the Glowing Embers for the past five years and have found it meets our needs. It's close to Edmonton and Spruce Grove, it has full hook-ups and there's never been a problem with getting into the site. The staff was helpful and friendly and the facilities clean. The WiFi service is, indeed spotty but that hardly generates... More

The place is really clean, mowed grass, staff really friendly!l and polite. Convenient because it is so close to town! My biggest issue was the laundry room. Only a few machines working for a big amount of ppl. Always busy. And no privacy at all. The sites are too close to each other, and no fire pits. So if your... More

had to find a place to stay well hubby took radiation treatments in Edmonton. This seemed to be the only place within reasonable driving distance to the Cross Cancer Center. Park is very overgrounded. Had an incredibly difficult time trying to get camper into site because of a vehicle with flat tires on, it so unmoveable, permanent resident apparently. Had... More

They advertise Wifi but if you want it you have to sit outside by the office... :( ...They pack you in like sardines and if you have a large RV it can be a challenge to back into your site due to cars and trucks on the road... :( ... Another thing is don't get fooled by the name (Glowing... More

Park is on the corner of Hwy 60 & Hwy 16A. We have been coming to this park for app 21 years. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Park also has a large indoor reception area, for large gatherings & a large covered area with barbecues. Park has pull throughs, 30 & 50 Amp. This... More

The internet was all but none-existent. The park is very big and as such doesn't really offer that personal touch. I have to say I would try them again because they were over-full due to Fort Mac evacuee's. To that I tip my hat. A little high priced for the value.

This was one of the campgrounds we stayed in on our way to AK. There are many seasonal campers, but our site was fine for an overnight stay. We are a motorhome towing, and they had a easily accesible pull thru site for us. Our greatest difficulty was in locating it due to the ongoing construction. The staff was friendly... More

A campground for you and your family to spend majority of your time in Edmonton. The location is very convenient, staff are helpful and polite. But of their patrons are living there full time and many people on one site. Which mean way too many vehicles per site and extremely overcrowded areas, difficult parking and loud weekends. My family and... More
