Rooms are a little short of daylight and as others have noted, lack air conditioning. However in all other respects this is an excellent option to stay at a convenient location in Edmonton. Spacious and comfortable (sofa as well as queen bed) and with two near-silent fans which provided adequate cooling for a warm August. Some great food options within... More

Looking for accommodation in the U of A area, means few choices and higher price tags. With a family member in the hospital, we were happy to find a room at the U of A Guest Accommodation at Lister Centre. The location is near enough to walk, there are several amenities in the area and the room was very similar... More

This facility was ideally located 2 blocks from hospital. Very clean and comfortable. Good access to essential food and entertainment. Feather duvet cozy bed. A very discreetly hidden gem for out of town patients very reasonably priced. Pass the word.

Very spacious rooms, big comfy bed, very clean, window with a nice view, several lamps, nice bathtub, fridge, coffee machine, lovely peppermint shampoo and conditioner...I really had a great stay there, and I slept wonderfully. Highly recommended!

Decided to try the U of A hotel to save the business a few dollars while attending a course on campus. It was half the cost of other nearby hotels so I worried. It was great with all of the amenities of a regular hotel. Parking was only $7 per day so that was great. I enjoyed having all of... More

I stayed with a friend living temporarily at this residence. The rooms were very clean and well serviced. Only bad thing is the heat and lack of air con made for some very uncomfortable evenings and it was impossible to be in the communal kitchens with the heat and lack of ventilation!

crappy residence room and very overpriced. Hot and' no frills service. Good points are not too far from strathcona and downtown but I would not stay there again due to it being very overpriced for what you get.

My wife and I stayed at the University of Alberta Guest Accommodation for 2 nights July 24 check in, checking out 26 July, 2014. No A/C. Period! Hot stuffy room! The room had 1 fan. We ask the FD and they told us no room has A/C. Very small window does not allow fresh air circulation. My wife likes to... More
