Attended three day conference here. Great staff, pool ok, and used the small workout room. The rooms are dated with no fan in the bathroom, so the mirror fogs up. My beef is with the chairs at the conference all weekend. Sag in the seat, sag at the back and I am going home with the worst back pain I have had in years. I will not attend a conference here again with these chairs. Not worth it. Within 30 minutes of sitting down I was squirming at each event. Echoed by other attendees.

Had an unexpected layover in Edmonton and booked a room at the Delta on points. On arrival we were greeted by a huge smile and most friendly front desk attendant ever, Lucile. She tended to us very promptly and was able to get us into a family room so we could be more comfortable. She was able to help us with some water and snacks also and to our surprise, we were greeted in our room for a very thoughtful card. Great room & super thoughtful staff made this a 5/5. Would happily recommend. Thanks Lucile!

reliable place to stay on calgary trail. nice rooms. stayed for a numbers of nights but had tk move rooms (hotel reception faxilitated this) after we complained on musty smell kn bathroom. wifi is slow. breakfast was good with interesting varieties of eggs benedict

Polarizing pros and cons. The staff, comfortable bed, heated garage, and cleanliness were pros but there were so many annoying cons such as no way to control the heat in the room as the thermostat had no effect, a broken soap bottle in the shower, little closet space because it must have seemed like a good idea to put the coffee bar in the closet, dark room, major traffic-train noise, dated rooms, etc.

I decided to book a night here before my flight out solely because I noticed the big Delta signs on my drive into the city from YEG a few days prior. With no fancy expectations, I really enjoyed my short stay. I arrived at a busy time but Janice at the front desk helped me promptly at the elite desk. She was very efficient and knowledgeable. I was intrigued by the loft suites so I used an SNA for one, and I was very much shocked by the amount of space I had - in addition to a big living section and a bedroom upstairs, there’s an additional bar area plus a decent-sized boardroom/dining room attached. The floor-to-ceiling windows were also massive to the point where they didn’t feel real, as they were close to taking up an entire wall - awesome if you ask me since I’m addicted to natural light. Climate control was also surprisingly good, as I’ve experienced problems at most other hotel lofts. Now a couple things to nitpick on - although the suite was glamorous and all, upkeep seemed to be lagging behind. I found a few spots where the carpets were peeling off, especially on the stairs the peelings were quite frequent and severe. The draperies were also excessively dusty, you could tell this room hadn't been booked all that often. Room aside, I also enjoyed the breakfast - service and food were both great and having steak and eggs included in my elite voucher is a pleasant surprise. I also had zero problems getting a later checkout as well, great considering some hotels do not honour Marriott’s “guaranteed” 4pm checkouts if there’s any kind of suites involved. All things considered, I was really happy I made this last minute plan change to stay here instead, although with some more TLC on the hard product I'm sure it is capable of delivering something more impressive than the current state.…

I stayed at the Delta for two nights for business and had a perfect stay. The staff are all amazing with top notch customer service. I really appreciated the room service deliveries for breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on my business trip. Thanks, Delta Team!

I wanted to commend the staff at the Aurora Lounge for their amazing service and hospitality. Jenny and Holly were very welcoming and provided the best service that Marriott properties are know for. Holly is a great addition to the team and provides great service with an amazing attitude. I really enjoyed the welcome back provided by the staff after a long travel day. The staff work well as a team to provide a great dining experience at the Aurora Lounge and I look forward to my return. I always look forward to my stay at The Delta Edmonton South property while in Edmonton. And the staff are a big part of that experience. It is great to be back travelling for work and reconnecting with your property and staff.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at the Delta. The service was amazing. The hotel recognized my Elite status and automatically upgraded me, provided coupons for free breakfast and gave me late checkout. The room was large and very clean. It felt like it had been recently renovated. No automatic daily housekeeping, but you could call to request housekeeping. Breakfast was very good and the servers were fantastic. This will be my new go-to hotel in South Edmonton.

If you know Edmonton, the International Airport is located a LONG, LONG way from downtown Edmonton. This hotel is about 20 minutes north of the Airport, which means it's still a long way from downtown. However, if your business takes you the Edmonton South area, this may be the spot for you. The staff are first-class, the lobby is modern and clean (not easy to maintain in the nasty Edmonton winter), and there's an attractive lounge and restaurant just off the lobby. Rooms are well-sized, beds are comfortable, and there's a handy refrigerator in the room. The room could have been improved with an updated closet door and a slightly bigger bathroom, but those are minor quibbles. Security is excellent, as you require a room key to use the elevators. There is a handy Superstore about a 7 minute walk away, and there are multiple good restaurants a short walk away. My corporate rate was C$129 per night, which I felt was a tad high, but that's probably the fault of my employer. I'm guessing you can get a lower rate off the hotel website. If Edmonton South is your destination, this is likely your best choice.…

Stayed here on a business trip. Bar service was 10/10, fast, friendly and went above and beyond. Front desk staff also went above and beyond and were always amazing to deal with (spoke with 3 different staff). Rooms and bathroom were very clean, beds are extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub to relax, pool was a little dirty but may have been kids in there earlier that made the mess. Would stay here again.
