Pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They are nice, clean, well equipped. Had some problems with the wifi the first night but that fixed itself. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast though due to work commitments. Overall, happy with my stay and will return if the need arises.

Every Saturday night the prime rib buffet is GF! Very good buffet. So refreshing to eat without worry. Soup - best cream of tomato I have ever had. Salads-3 with a great Caesar. Lots of pickles and veg. Poor cheese platter - dried out and needed refreshing. Excellent hot meal!!! And the desserts; all gf, the chai pavlova and carrot...

My greyhound bus to jasper national park was cancelled so greyhound bus put a few of its guests up in the hotel for a night/day. I arrived in at 3am. The staff were great And the breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit and fantastic service. Janice at the front desk was especially helpful when it came time to get back...

We had not stayed at the Chateau Louis for a couple of years. We were wonderfully surprised to stay in a beautifully renovated room. Went for supper on Friday evening in the dining room, meal was fabulous and the service was very good. Went for breakfast, such a great meal, lots of items to choose. We will be back again.

Stayed one night for a conference and it was a pleasure. The rooms are decorated very tastefully in wood and the linens are beautiful too! Was a very comfortable bed, temperature control was bang on, and the bathroom was very nice too. Wish I didn't have to conference otherwise would have spent more time in this room. The restaurant for...

Room that I stayed in was a bit dated but clean. The buffet breakfast was $22 but had a good variety of breakfast items. The conference rooms were small and hard to regulate the heat but staff were friendly and is a good place to stay overall for downtown Edmonton.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was in a good location. It is a short taxi ride to the Roger's Arena and it is right across from the Kingsway mall. The food was great in the lounge and breakfast is included although we did not try it. There is an additional sink outside the bathroom which is nice...

I was here for business travel and made a mistake booking this hotel. I needed somewhere close to Royal Alexandra and was in a hurry. I thought it was 3.5 stars but really it's about a 1.5 star in terms of upkeep and appearance. There was something disconcerting about it; the rundown hallways, stucco walls and faux chateau features mixed...

The Chateau Louis was very clean and quiet during our mid week stay in July 2016. We had a very nice dinner and a wonderful breakfast the next morning, before resuming our mini vacation. The staff were excellent and the location (near the Yellowhead highway) was ideal for our early morning getaway to Jasper National Park. Had a great stay...

Had a good quiet room main floor . 3rd visit here now . My room was close to the lobby which is what I asked for. Clean but not quite stocked as there were only 2 towels in suite . Breakfast buffet was good but servers not so over the top friendly. Tips must not be the greatest for included...
