I like the retro feel of this 1960's hotel with its curving hallways. Great views all around too. We had dessert in the revolving restaurant one night. It takes about 90 minutes to go all the way around and it was nice to sit back and view the river and the city lights.

I booked this hotel months in advance of our intended stay dates using a free night I had earned on a travel website. It seemed fairly close to the new Rogers Arena in Downtown Edmonton which is where I was going for a concert, it was within walking distance which was great (Less than a 10 minute walk), but that's... We hosted our daughters wedding at this hotel Sept 17/16 - the catering staff and Byron the event co-ordinator were 2nd to none! Exceptional service from everyone, very professional, all the extras....flowers, cake table, gift transfer, 2nd day room setup, cocktail hour, the list goes on and on. I would choose this hotel for another function for sure!! Thankyou for... More

Its romance night! A night where my husband and I get a hotel room in Edmonton and get away from the kids. This weekend we picked Chateau Lacombe which is downtown and near the river valley. For the night, we chose the Concierge Package. I had asked for a room high up, and facing the river valley. Initially when we... More

Stayed a couple nights for the opening of the Rogers place. 15 min walk. Rooms on the top are renovated so they were good. 23 floor just under the restaurant . Quiet after 11. Never heard any noise from above. Bed was good that doesn't transfer movement from my wife . We will stay here again for the price and... More

So after reading a few reviews and looking at other peoples pics I figured I'd try it out. First thing I found out is that parking is $18 just till 6am like cmon people, after that you pay extra. I got up to the room to expect a decently sized modern room. Instead I got a very tiny little room... More

The hotel was nice enough but the rooms could be done with a bit of a spruce up. The pictures of the hotel looked a lot nicer than the actual hotel. Staff were friendly. location was good, as we were only here for a night it was fine.

I've stayed here for business several times, this hotel is pretty central to all amenities, however not joined to the ped-way (underground or above ground connected walkways). You have to walk at least a couple of blocks or more to find food, city center mall and subway. I've stayed in a King room which is pretty good size, enough space... More

What can I say, it's showing it's age. The Chateau Lacombe needs some refurbishing. They are in the process of replacing all the windows right now. You pretty much can't get a bad view but do ask for the higher levels if you get the chance. We were on the 16th floor and the evening lights were beautiful. The room... More
