WE booked this place for a few days in July, 2016 to visit family. It sells itself as kind of an up scale place but the management isn't. The WIFI, if that matters to you, is useless and just frustrating. The spots are very close together. We were told we had to leave earlier than the agreement said by 2... More

All of the roads are gravel and had many ruts. Sites are not level. All of the picnic tables we saw (including ours) were on hills...none were level. The tent areas were nice, all with a stationary, covered picnic table. There's plenty for kids to do...a heated pool, miniature golf. Location is next to the 1988 Olympic ski-jumping, luge and... Worst campground we've ever been to. Roads are gravel, and when it rains they get washed out and turn into 4x4 roads. Fine for a truck, but dangerous for a trailer as you'll rip out the sewage dump pipes. Also, the services are on the wrong side of 50% of the stalls because they share one set of water, power,... I gave it a 3 due to false advertising and facility maintenance. Great location and could be a great facility. Showers are hot but dated and in need of a good chlorine or bleach cleaning. Campground roads are terrible due to washout from rain. If you have this then either pave it or have equipment in place to repair. RV's... More

This campground needs some competition... they charge way too much, the interior roadways are no better than a dry riverbed, washrooms are dated and sites are very cramped. Check out is 10 AM and check in is 10 AM!! We were 20 minutes late and another rig was staring at us waiting to set up. Never heard of such nonsense... More

This campground is near the Olympic Park and on the western side of the city. If you are planning to go to Banff, this would be a good place to stay. It has a pool and small store. There is also a shuttle which takes you to Olympic Park. From there you can take a bus to the train station.... More

Stayed here one night before flying out of Calgary the next day. Campground is convenient to highway but that is about all that can be said. It is expensive, the sites are crowded, the washroom was very dirty, and they wouldn't honour an advertised discount saying it was "Stampede period" even though the Stampede didn't start for another 6 days!... Worst experience ever. I had been in contact with this campground several days in advance of my stay for 2 nights. They were aware that I would be arriving late Saturday evening. Upon arriving at the campground at 10:00 saturday, I then realized that the office was closed at 9:00pm. There was no information left for me, as to what... More

If you have more then 2 kids beware. They want to charge $5 per child per night extra. My friend would have to pay $15 extra per night to stay in this campground which I think is ridiculous. Total cash grab!!!

Unfortunately, our stay at this campground & Calgary was clouded by heavy forest fire smoke otherwise our campsite would have had a great view of the city. The sites were a little close together and roads tight to maneuver with a big rig. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall the Campground is dated and in need of upgrading.
