I love love loved the location of this gem of a place. My husband and I visited in early May in the hopes of seeing some beautiful landscape and wildlife. We were in wildlife overload from within 30 minutes of arriving! This time of year with all the Bears coming out of hibernation, bear activity was in full swing (make... More

A great location within Banff National Park. My Mother and I had a jacuzzi suite (we did not use the jacuzzi!), it was very clean and comfortable. The decor was very appropriate to the location and the animals contained within it. We ate in the restaurant, all meals were delicious. Unfortunately, we were not told that the restaurant would be... Stayed six nights. The lodges are traditional and in keeping with the setting (although the kitchen could do with upgrading if you were wanting to self cater). Quiet and peaceful next to the creek and situated on the Parkway with lots of opportunity to spot wildlife. Good base to visit Lake Louise and Johnson Canyon (get there early). Lovely wooden... Baker Creek is as remote as you can be in the Lake Louise area (11km) without being under canvas. The place has a real appeal and is nicely laid out, with outdoors being the real attraction. We had a deluxe loft jacuzzi suit, which had one huge bedroom, and one small one. Tip - get there before your housemates! We... More

Stayed two nights at Baker Creek and really enjoyed our visit. The resort is impeccable with tastefully decorated cabins, mountain views, and fire pits along the creek. Baker Creek offers an authentic mountain experience, tucked away in the forest at the foot of the mountains, and is only a 10-minute drive to Lake Louise. The restaurant serves amazing food and... This is a tough one to review. The location is superb: by the creek, next to the Canadian Pacific railway line (with plenty of space to roam and explore); the lodges are right for the setting (the loft ones are particularly cute), the decor is quaint (slightly old-fashioned but comfortable and just about right - modern would feel out of... If immaculate grounds, cool mountain air, firepits, roaring creek, fireplaces, and complete tranquility is your thing...this is your place. We stayed 4 days and absolutely loved our end room on the creek. Great location to do it all....and no fighting for parking. Also really loved the Bistro. Had 2 dinners and a breakfast and thought the service and food were... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Baker Creek Mountain Resort on the May long weekend. We had a Jacuzzi suite and thoroughly enjoyed both the room and the location. Had dinner in the bistro and the salmon was first rate and delicious. We were only disappointed that we. only stayed one night. We will definitely be... More

I have been to Baker Creek multiple times since October 2015, and it NEVER disappoints. The staff is extremely friendly, and ever since they switched the management of the Bistro, food quality has sky-rocketed. Nathan and Joelle (the chefs) are friendly and always willing to accommodate any special diet allergies/preferences. The rooms allow you to feel as if you were... More

What a fantastic thing to get away to a beautiful location and have zero technology! As someone who has "been surgically attached to my blackberry", what a welcome change. Very relaxing. Rooms clean. Grounds immaculate. Staff friendly. Restaurant good with good value.
