Let me say this weekend of 20th Nov was one of the best experiences I have had at the Fairmont. It all started with my wife and kids surprising me with a stay at at one of the hotels finest lake view rooms for my 50th birthday weekend. Although embarrassed when being greeted and wished by everyone who I interacted with (the gateman to the bell staff and Samantha) at check in it was a pleasure to know that no detail was spared to make us welcomed and feel like VIP's. The icing on the cake was a bunch of balloons and a platter of delicious treats that awaited us in our room. Lets just say the Wife and Kids made the most of it and reminded me of my diet. I have to give 5 Stars to all the staff at this establishment - well trained. With COVID they took extra special care to ensure safety was paramount. Thank you Samantha- JohnPaul - Paulina- Heather and Elliot for making this an awesome once in a life time 50th Birthday. My wife said this would not have been possible without the help of Kathleen who put this together during these trying and challenging times.

Excited to hear of early snow and COVID deals we planned a 5 day stay. From the get go the service was slow and unprepared. The location is beautiful but isolated which forces long drives or eating exclusively on site. Luckily we had a car and we’re able to drive ourselves to Sunshine and Banff to switch up because the area had little keep young kids busy when not skiing. The pool was depressing. The ‘ski’ hotel had very few shuttles to the hill and each morning seemed unprepared for the skiiers trying to get gear from the boot room and get to the hill. Tables were too few and the hostesses rude. The serves over worked and often unable to bring a drink within the first 20 mins of being seated. Our room was quite basic and only serviced every 3 days?! Overall we would stop in for lunch or dinner because the food and view were good but stay elsewhere next time. Likely in Banff where there are way more options and action. Overall we leave disappointed and underwhelmed and struggling to reconcile the high rating given by others. Perhaps it is offseason. Perhaps COVID but really we expect better from the Fairmont brand.

Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay one we will cherish forever. The hotel is spectacular unlike any hotel we have stayed at. We arrived with balloons, champagne, keepsakes, chocolate and felt so special celebrating my 60th birthday 🎂. The restaurant is amazing we cannot wait to come back. The view from our suite was breathtaking. Thank you for a beautiful memory we will treasure forever!!!

This was our first stay with Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and I went in with high expectations as this was a special trip for my family of 5 and my mom, who was just diagnosed with cancer. I wanted it to be perfect and memorable for her. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, and while the space was exactly what we needed, I have to admit that the view was disappointing. Upon entry, there is a large sitting room, but it was very dim. No windows, which is unfortunate for such an expensive room, to not be able to sit in the sitting room and be able to enjoy some natural sunlight and to enjoy some of the mountain scenery. Our suite had 2.5 baths, a king bed, a pull out sofa bed and 2 twin beds. The hotel should consider changing those beds to queens or another king. Prior to our arrival, I had made pool reservations and dining reservations. The kids loved the pool and the Fairmont did a great job in limiting the amount of people allowed in at a time, and also reserving 15 minutes between pool times to sanitize all the high touch surfaces. With respect to the dining, it was our first time dining out since March and it was wonderful to be able to experience this again at the Fairmont. The food and service was amazing! The hotel did a great job in ensuring that tables were appropriately distanced. To view menus, you scan the QR code and access it online. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we made some great memories with my mom. Lake Louise is a must see, and even though we were here in the summer just to see the lake, seeing it with the snow is such a different experience, and even more so when you stay at the Fairmont and the lake is steps out the door.

The view is amazing, walking the lake every time you turn around there is another spectacular view. The staff at the Fairmont could do no more, they are simply an amazing group of people who made our staying during Covid so safe and lovely. Great food, great service and view overlooking the lake. Just perfect
