Our overall stay was good. The hotel is friendly, clean and close to amenities. The rooms are way too warm though, even with turn down the thermostat. The fan/air exchange unit is so loud and cut in/out all night. Breakfast was good and it is a quick drive to the mountain!

Stayed 2 nights for site seeing in Lake Louise in Yoho Park. The hotel was sufficient, nothing special, but I did enjoy the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Breakfast is included and is your basic free breakfast items. Staff was friendly and room was clean. A bit overpriced, but I think this is par for the area.

overall, the stay at mountaineers lodge was pleasant for my small family. breakfast food was simple, yet satisfying. location near lake louise, which was very good. it is nearly an hour's drive to banff avernue, but that is okay, because of the very nice scenery of banff while driving.

We chose to stay closer to the mountain to get an early start but we wished we stayed at our usual spot in Canmore! We had an awful sleep due to the room being unbearingly hot, even though the thermostat was turned way down, it was -30 outside and the window wide open the entire time! We also thought we...

Stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Very nice and greatly relaxing tub and a comfortable bed. Within walking distance of Post dining room and shuttle to the Louise resort. How can that be improved on?

Room was very dirty . Small made me sick and i found a spider web and hairs. They didn't vacuum everyday. I had to wash the cups before I use because they was sitting there for while . Im not sure why they don't check the room before the guests come.

This is technically a motel. The front desk agents give you very bad attitude should you ever trouble them for anything, even when it is them that made a mistake in the bill. Continental breakfast isn't good either. Literally every day I go there for bagle and nothing else because nothing else looked good to us. Our room was dirty,...

We stayed here as a one night away and chose one of the new renovated suites. It was very nicely redone and could accommodate a decent number of people. It was however located with a stairwell on the back of it and the noise of people going up and down was quite significant.

Mountaineer Lodge was a perfect location for skiing Lake Louise. A free shuttle picks up just outside the hotel and is only about 10 to 15 minutes to the slopes. Hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing.
