This was the most beautiful, remote place we stayed. Our room looked out across the lake. Our room fireplace was already loaded with wood and matches to start it. A balcony was the perfect place to sit and watch the canoes and hikers pass by...More
There is no more stunning a location, right on this beautiful lake.
The room had a view across the lake as do most rooms with a big window and the fireplace is a nice touch.

This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever been to. Lake Moraine is overwhelming, we were speechless when we arrived. The lodge is on the side of the lake. We had a room in one of the bungalows, not in the main building, and that...More
I would highly recommend this hotel- worth the price tag. The rooms are well appointed and the views cannot be beat. Canoeing on the lake is included in the stay and was a lot of fun. There is an included breakfast buffet which was excellent....More

We brought our 9-year-old son last summer and it was fine, but they don't cater to children. They say on the website they cannot accommodate children under the age of 8. With all the noise from the tourists in the lake all day though, I'm not sure why they don't allow young kids to stay there. It is a beautiful place and we plan to return, but we've learned this isn't a place for peace and quiet!!
