I stayed at Moraine Lake in the late Spring with my husband and we had an amazing time! The location is excellent and there are some great hikes nearby. The accommodation itself is nice, but slightly dated. I found the price to be on the higher end. All-in-all, an enjoyable experience.

Where do I even begin? This place is worth EVERY PENNY. The rooms are beyond comfortable and cozy. They provide all you need and keep firewood and supplies well stocked (yes - there is a real fireplace! This added a wonderful ambiance and kept our room cozy on chilly July nights). A complimentary wine bottle even came stocked in the... More

You get what you pay and Moraine Lake Lodge definitely does not disappoint. The lodge is literally situated right next to the beautiful Moraine Lake. While the location and view are stunning, I think the best part was not having to deal with the hassle of parking. We arrived on Sunday around noon time and the road leading up to... More

We stayed at the lodge for three nights. From the minute we pulled into the parking lot and stepped inside to check-in, to the day we had to check-out, we were impressed. The check-in process was wonderful, thorough, friendly, helpful. We booked a Deluxe Cabin King and not only did it look exactly like the brochure (fireplace, big windows overlooking... More

This is the Bo Derek of 'hotels' as it's a perfect 10. The staff could not have been any more accomodating, the room we had (#12) was a most quaint beautiful 'cabin' with a view of the stunning blue lake. It had it's own fireplace, modern amenities, comfy bed, balcony and fabulous bathroom/shower/water pressure. The main lodge has a library... More

We spent one night at Moraine Lake Lodge in our way from Banff to Jasper and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It's a little expensive but worth it. Our room overlooked the beautiful lake (in our opinion it's even more stunning than Lake Louise). We arrived in time to enjoy the complementary daily afternoon coffee and... More

A lovely lodge, very helpful staff and great food. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The view from the bed right over the lake was amazing. You can take a Canadian canoe out on the lake included in the price which was great fun. A fire in the lodge makes it really cosy. Very romantic

We arrived on the busiest day of the year - Canada Day - yet despite the crowds (who all disappeared by 7ish) this was an oasis of tranquility. The welcome was great. Our cabin was very comfortable, with a log fire, a luxury we didn't really need but was a good place and sit and drink our complimentary bottle of... More

We travelled here as a part of visit to Western Canada, and we look for boutique hotels to stay rather than the larger hotels. We heard that the setting was great but didn't know what to expect - but when we arrived, the setting and the Lodge were truly breathtaking. The lodge nestles on the side of Lake Moraine, which...
