All I can say, is breath taking. My wife and I spent some time there and just relaxed and took in the Gorgeous sights. I would try to get here by 8am, as it fills up very fast. There is plenty of room to walk and explore. We only explored only a small portion of the area. I would say,... More

I have one of the best experience staying at a hotel. The view of the Moraine Lake is gorgeous. The room is very cozy. Dinner at the restaurant was superb. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea is a plus, not mention the canoe service. Oh my! I totally recommend this lodge for a couple getaway.

We stayed in a lodge overlooking the lake, stunning location and it was particularly lovely to be there early in the morning and into the evenings. There was plenty of space in the room and a very comfortable bed. The fire was a lovely extra. Enjoyed the included afternoon tea and cakes and breakfast was good. We ate in the... More

I went here the first week of August for the Romance in the Rockies package. I was blown away! Best time of the year to go for sure the weather was in the 60s and sunny. We had a private little cabin with up to date plumbing and electric and they left firewood outside of your room every night if... More

I am very torn on this review. I was waiting because we have now stayed at Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The acoomodation itself is very nice. The problem is getting in and getting out on the road and quiet while you are there. There are hundreds of tourists milling about until 930pm and starting again at 7am. We were... More

My son and I stayed her for one night whilst on a road trip through the area. We took the last deluxe cabin they had and we'e delighted to do so as the weather was drawing in and we had nowhere to stay. The cabin and the food and service were excellent and the location beyond compare. My only two... More

As soon as I saw this hotel while we were planning our trip to the Rockies I fell in love with it and once we got there it didn't disappoint. The holiday was to celebrate my husbands 60th year and it was a lovely surprise to find a bottle of sparkling wine awaiting us in our room. We stayed in... More

Couldn't speak more highly of the Moraine Lake Lodge. Spent two nights here mid August and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale, unspoiled, more natural setting than the over touristy Fairmont Lake Louise. MLL appealed to me because it was in a phenomenal setting for hiking, and astrophotography, away from the hustle and bustle... More

Celebrated our son's 21st birthday and it was a complete delight. Really special to be able to enjoy the Lake after the tour coaches have gone. The lodge is a mountain retreat - no TV or telephone in an utterly tranquil location. Beautifully furnished in rustic mountain style. Room with balcony and view over the lake. The meal in the... My daughter and I recently spent two wonderful days and nights at this magnificent property. We were fulfilling one of my bucket list dreams of visiting Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks in the US and Waterton Lakes, Banff, and Jasper National Parks in Canada. We agreed that Moraine Lake was the highlight of our two-week journey and that... More
