We attended functions Friday and Saturday night at the Hotel. Both functions were spectacular. Food, wine and service impeccable. We stayed in the a Type B King bedded room on the 3rd floor (top floor and had a lovely view of the river and the cabins below. We'll be back!

Returning to the Post is the most rewarding gift a traveler could have. Elegant, immaculately clean and, very well appointed, the hotel is definitely a reminder of a nearly bygone era. An older wood structure means that you are going to hear the comings and goings of other guests and it is located near the CPR railway line so that...

My wife & I just spent two great days here. We had tried to book at O'hare Lake Lodge 7 months ahead & Chateau Lake Louise 6 weeks prior with no luck. So The Post Hotel was our 3rd choice & I think things turned out for the best! The room was clean & very comfortable with views of the...

The Post has a traditional, classic elegance of times gone by. It was refreshing to pull up to the hotel and see the hotel staff dressed in uniforms that were reminiscent of luxury from a century ago (that's my guess on time period, but I could be off by a few decades or more!) The vibe of the hotel was...

Not a bad hotel, but very dated, dark and with cheap looking wood furniture and dingy carpets. But it was definitely pricey! The service was nice, they had turn down service. And the pool was beautiful, but the room inspired you to get out as soon as possible! You get lindt truffles and bottle water at night, those could have...

This is a definite must stay hotel. Superb attention to guest needs and very accommodating staff and beautifully kept... Yes the train is fairly close however the trains run all through the Rockies in all towns. We found it charming.... The front reception area is very warm and cosy with soft furnishings like an old inn. Tea and coffee is...

We loved this hotel. Room was large with sofa, chair and enormous bed - so comfortable we had a great nights sleep. Complimentary tea and coffee just across the hallway from our room. Breakfast was good, continental buffet for $18 each with lots of choice and lovely fresh fruit. Complimentary fresh fruit basket in our room and turn down service...

The Post Hotel is all about class with old world charm. Everything about this hotel is first class from the rooms, the staff, the food and best of all the view. Though we stayed on the quiet side with a view of the river and a narrow view of the mountains from our balcony, if you didn't mind the rather...

I recently spent a couple of nights here, just to get away for some rest and relaxation. I was looking for a hotel in the Lake Louise-Banff area that was relaxing, comfy, quiet, with a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. I had stayed at other hotels in the area, but none quite lived up to my expectations. The Post Hotel hit all the boxes....

We stayed for one night and we really like this hotel. We took the advice from other travellers review and booked the room at the preferred side. The hotel is located next to a river and the view from our room is trees, river and hotel cabins. It is a lovely and peaceful side of the hotel. The hotel itself...
