I visited this hotel for a Dinner in June 2106, but did not stay there. I heard from my tour guide about the great food of this hotel so I went for it. This hotel is situated on the bank of bow river just 4.5 kms away from Lake Louise, which is just about 5 minutes drive. When I went... More

Loved this place. Splurge on a cabin by the river Upscale cabin with all the amenities. Gurgling river outside your window with your own Adirondack chairs to watch it rush by. Felt so private within a resort. Just heavem

I have the most expensive facial and massage package with the valmont les glaciers range of products. This enabled you to have a short amount of time in the whirlpool and steam. Valmont cream was rubbed Into my body, which I think meant body massage and then a facial starting with cleansing and toning then a collagen mask applied and... More

This hotel is featured in all kinds of great travel magazines but I'd say its overly hyped and really poor value. And I stay in a fair number of nice places. Two main complaints. First, the views from the restaurant and front lawn overlook....a parking lot. Not kidding. Second, I paid for the more expensive room on the "preferred side"... More

In the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We have stayed here for the following occasions: Family Celebrations - One of the lodges was reserved for our family which was clean and the most perfect setting for our weekend. The dining is exceptional and surely one of my all time favourites. The setting along the river is magnificent. The wine cellar... More

We arrived at the post house very tired, this hotel was a treat for our 21st ann. Check in was easy. The room had a but of dust but our biggest problem was the train passing at 10.30 pm and then again at 6.15 am and as you know in canada the trains go on forever. If we had known... More

We dropped in for lunch. Didn't stay. The hotel is large and rambling and we liked both the food and the atmosphere. The staff impressed us with their style and presence. Everyone in our group commented on the quality and presentation of the food

We had lunch at the pub that's located inside. It was good. I found it odd that the pub is so small considering the amount of tourism that travels through here but I guess the positive side to that is it's quite quaint. We would definitely eat there again.

This little luxury hotel is such a gem that you won't even want to leave for the gorgeous area hikes. The cuisine is divine, service is impeccable, and the rooms are elegant, spacious and comfortable (and, ohhhh, thise lovely bathrooms!). Even the bar and the library offer glorious comfort. I have been there only twice: 34 years ago and last... More

We stayed at the Fairmont, but the food here is superb. We had the hot cauliflower soup, followed by the Salmon and shrimp. Topping this off is a wonderful Ginger bread with blueberry and strawberry dessert. Everything about this Hotel is classy. Only thing missing is the view.
