We weren't able to book on the preferred side because we came on a busy season. The room that we got was close to the area where the cars drive by, so we can't really open our shades. But it was quiet and well-designed. The staff left a bottle of ice-cold champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room, as well...

There are some hotels you stay in, well, to simply have a place to call 'home' while you're visiting a place away from home. Then there are the hotels you stay in simply to experience 'the hotel'. This is most certainly the latter. You may never have heard of the Post Hotel, but it is worth the trip and it's...

The Post is just beautiful. Log construction, beautiful grounds, and an awesome sight sitting beside the river. The sun room is warm and wonderful, and the library is a wonderful retreat with a fantastic fireplace, bar, and chandelier. The restaurant is right off the lobby and has the great ambience and food that you would expect at a world class...

We were there for 2 days and ate dinner there for 2 nites. Fabulous menu and all the dinners were first class. They have one of the best wine cellars in North America - in excess of 30,000 bottles - some of the best wines in the world. Service staff is polite and are very knowledgeable and courteous . Great...

Recently, i brought my Peer Group (all Americans) to our amazing mountains and chose to stay at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise. We chose the Watson House because it truly is perfect. I made all of my arrangements with Stephan who responded promptly to my requests and went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing experience....

This is definitely a luxury hotel that offers great amenities (bring your bathing suit!) and perfect location (just minutes walk away from village). The room we had was on the "preferred side", we did not hear the train at all. Room was very rustic, and clean. We had a small room without fireplace on the main floor (wish we had...

During the past 15 years I've stayed at the Post Hotel a few times and have always wanted to stay in one of the Post Hotel's riverside speciality cabins but cabin availability was always an issue. This year I was finally able to secure five nights in the Post Hotel's Watson House cabin. This hotel is very special and although...

First visited the Post Hotel with dear friends in 2013 & we absolutely loved it, so when we decided to go back - of course we had to stay here again (first visit was not long enough). We went back with the same couple and this time, we stayed 5-nights. Be sure and stay in a room with a fireplace...

This spring my brother flew in from Ontario. He had not visited our majestic rocky mountains for several decades so the three of us planned a tour. As he flew into Calgary our first overnight stay was at The Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise. What a beautiful area. We stayed in the main lodge which overlooked the river...

We thoroughly enjoyed a several night stay at the Post Hotel and will return again. The hotel is in a quiet location adjacent to a river with an easy 3 minute walk across the parking lot and a bridge to Lake Louise Village mall. The hotel has a quiet elegance, and the ambience is reminiscent of a smaller national park...
