altough its a nice hostel i still think its very expensive, for thst price you expect at least every day included breakfast! but you have to pay much for that as well ( e.g. $3,- for two slices of toast) still i slept there very good and woke up in the fresh mountain air. the interior was new and nice

I stayed here last week and I think its a lovely little hostel. Compared to others it is very comfortable. I was in a 4 dorm mixed room and we all had enough space between us all. The toilets were clean. Only downfall was only 2 showers and for women this can be an issue if you want to all... More

I know that Banff is expensive, but this is a hostel with bunk beds and was the most expensive place we stayed at during our 16 day tour of BC. It was even more expensive than our hotels in Vancouver and Victoria. We spent two nights here, but never again. (yes, I have been to hostels before and am a... More

It's most likely the cheapest place in Banff so I almost feel bad calling it expensive, but it still is. Staff is friendly though, rooms are all right with above average beds and below average cleaning of toilets, bar and restaurant are good, common areas are pretty good. The kitchen could be cleaner and the refrigerators are really loud, but... More

This was a cosy hostel up in the mountains. It is a bit far from the town (20-30 min walk) but beside that really beutiful place. They have very cosy fire-place outdoors. The rooms are cose and different from other hostels. Shower rooms that had a real door was a very nice surprice.

My family and I stayed in one of private room. It is bit pricy for 2 ppl using the whole room with 4 beds in it. I also enjoyed to be able to cook my own in their all equipped kitchen. its expected to be a bit busy at meal time but it is organised. Highly recommended for ppl with... More

It's far from the noisy downtown and touristy areas, so is a bit more relax and peaceful. There's also a great hiking trail with great views. Though a bit far up in the hills, they provide you with a free bus pass. The kitchen and dining area tends to be too crowded and small for the hostel of that size.

We stayed 2 nights in a private cabin. Prices were reasonable for the Banff area. Cabin was clean and well presented. We used the community kitchen to cook our meals. Their is a restaurant and a bar in site. We had a few of their $3 happy rums...great value! Hostel is located on Tunnel Mountain a short distance from the... More

As hostels go, this one is fine. The private room was on the small side, the kitchen facilities were good (basic provisions like oil, salt and pepper were helpful) and the washing facilities were quite good. That said, it was a little on the pricy side compared t other hostels and it had a higher opinion of itself than was... More
