A friend and I wanted an affordable place to stay in Banff and so after doing a search I came across this B&B and we got a really great rate for our room for a week. It was a room in their sub basement and came with a little kitchenette which was great. I saw deer twice while I was... More

Huge thank you to this B&B. Quaint and old fashioned hospitality in a beautiful old building. From the moment I arrive I felt at home. I met with Robyn and Shane who run this place well but it is more like staying with friends the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. My room was cute with all the basics, I had... More

Stayed for two nights. Could not be happier with the service we received. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were incredible and they catered to my intolerances without a hassle. Room was clean and ours had a beautiful view. Can not recommend this place enough. It's where I'm staying if I ever visit... More

We stayed at Rocky Mountain B&B for four nights. It was very pleasant. Our room was nice and cozy with a clean shared bathroom right next to it which was very convenient. We especially enjoyed eating a different hot breakfast every morning by the fireplace. Overall really peaceful and welcoming place with great staff, thank you Robyn and team.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were wonderful and helpful allowing us to enjoy banff and gave us some great recommendations for places to see and eat. Breakfast is included and a delicious experience in itself. The B&B is located close to downtown and just a few... More

We spent just one night here and really enjoyed our stay. Sarah was extremely friendly and chatty, we felt at home at once. The room was cosy and warm. The shared bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast consisted of a tasty omelette, plus a selection of cereals and bread to toast. Would definitely stay here again.

Their check in is at 4-8pm. However I arrived at 12:30 but had to leave for the rest of the day. The host gave me the keys to my room and informed me about how to get around Banff, and what time breakfast was. Arrived at 8pm and the front doors were looked ensuring safety of other guests. I had... More

The warm welcome provide upon arrival reflected everything about this establishment. The B&B is located within three blocks of central Banff and is an excellent base for all activities in this region. The rooms are clean and well presented. The B&B is a renovated original house which presents its own limitations in relation to the sound proofing of the rooms... More

A turn of the 20 th Century property with many artefacts of bygone times, but forward to the 21st century and Rob & Robyn put their heart & soul into their business, it's different, it's quirky and we loved it ! We had dinner on the day we arrived and the breakfast's are of a high standard. Would we recommend... More

My visit to Banff was occasioned by an invitation I had to visit from a friend I met at a B & B in Seoul, Korea. As a resident of Calgary, she frequently visits Banff and Rocky Mountain B & B is her favorite. It was not disappointing, particularly for the cost. It's much easier to spend significantly more on... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are an intimate high-country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue on Otter Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The building dates from 1907 and has 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge and dining room. We use excellent ingredients, serve locally roasted organic coffee and vary our menu daily. This historic mountain home is warm and spacious. It was used extensively in the '30s by CPR work crews as a boarding house. For the following forty years it was known as Douglas House and served as tourist accommodation. The Inn was fully restored in the late '80s and has had recent renovations to maintain its original character and substantial mountain charm. We have four suites, which suit small families, as well as simple and elegant double rooms. Our dining room and lounge are open to guest use during the day and there is a television in the lounge. We have private off-street parking to accommodate guests with vehicles. However, once you are in Banff many activities and walks are accessible by foot from the B&B. ... more   less
