Stayed here for 3 nights. The breakfast varied each day and was always generous. The managers are very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. The price was good for the benefits we received . Close to the centre of Baniff.

We spend three nights in this wonderful B&B in a room with private bath room. Beside a bed the room was equipped with a couch, table, chairs and kitchenette, and had enough space for our two bags. It was located downstairs and kept cool during warm days which was comfortable in order to get sleep at night. The bath room...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rocky Mountain B and B on our Rockies trip last month and thought it was super! Robin was very welcoming and obliging, the room was clean and comfortable and the place has character. I couldn't understand anyone who wouldn't think the same. There's unique pieces in each room, we had a cool dresser...

Three of us shared Room 10, which had a double bedroom plus a sitting room and kitchenette with two single beds. It was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were excellent and the location was great for visiting Lake Louise and Banff attractions. Parking was easy and free wifi provided.

This is a really lovely B&B. I spent 10 nights here in early June 2015 - six nights in room 6 which is a double ensuite and four nights in room 3 which is one of the smaller rooms with a shared bathroom. Room 6 is a delightful room with a large ensuite and is a great room to come...

We stayed for 3 nights on the 20th of May in room 5. We had a lovely stay, Robyn and Rob are brilliant hosts, very welcoming. The breakfasts were varied, very tasty and healthy. The rooms are lovely, with beautiful mountain views. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Banff. Fantastic value for money.

We stayed one night here - our first night in Canada. We were met by 2 deer as we parked the car. The B&B is about 5 mins walk from downtown Banff. The room was small but comfy. One of our cases had to be put in the ensuite as there wasn't enough room in the bedroom itself. The bed...

I was looking forward to our stay here after reading previous reviews and after staying in an excellent B&B in New England. I chose this B&B due to costs as hotels in Banff are expensive. The Rocky Mountain B&B is not a bad place to stay but its not excellent either. To me, it lacked the warmth of other B&B's...

Banff was exceptionally crowded but this B & B was a calm retreat with above norm meals. Set menu but could be adjusted for our food allergies thankfully & in a very tasty manner. We enjoyed the breakfasts but also stayed on for chicken with bismati rice & bison dinners. Crowds at the gondola ride delayed us by several hours...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are an intimate high-country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue on Otter Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The building dates from 1907 and has 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge and dining room. We use excellent ingredients, serve locally roasted organic coffee and vary our menu daily. This historic mountain home is warm and spacious. It was used extensively in the '30s by CPR work crews as a boarding house. For the following forty years it was known as Douglas House and served as tourist accommodation. The Inn was fully restored in the late '80s and has had recent renovations to maintain its original character and substantial mountain charm. We have four suites, which suit small families, as well as simple and elegant double rooms. Our dining room and lounge are open to guest use during the day and there is a television in the lounge. We have private off-street parking to accommodate guests with vehicles. However, once you are in Banff many activities and walks are accessible by foot from the B&B. ... more   less
