Friendly and helpful hosts, excellent breakfast, nice and clean room and ensuite bathroom. The house is located only two blocks away from the town centre, but far from the hustle and bustle. The main street with shops and pubs and restaurants is all within walking distance. It is a historic building and used to be a boarding house for railway workers...

We had a large room with on queen bed and two single beds which was perfect for our family of four but the bathroom ( not shared) is in the corridor. B&B is situated just a few minutes walk to downtown and all the boutiques and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and host very friendly.

I loved this place. We booked a basement room which for us was perfect as it had a little kitchenette and a fridge to store our food while camping and it also had space for us to sort out our stuff. Wifi was free and very good. Bed was comfortable and shower although very small was powerful and mostly hot....

We enjoyed our stay at the Rocky Mountain B&B for the great location, quaint rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly service and tasty breakfast. The down side would have to be that the doors and walls are paper thin, so don't expect a quiet stay. We were woken several times during the night by people using the bathrooms.

My boyfriend and I spent our first week in Canada at this B&B. The owners are wonderful and have all the time to recommend hikes, places to eat and things to do. They were so personable and humble and Rob's breakfasts were incredible. The rooms are great, the water from the shared showers is quite noisy but its an old...

While on our roadtrip throughout Alberta, we stayed one night at this bed and breakfast. We may have been very unlucky but the room we were given didn't have much. Also, bathrooms were very small and weren't very clean. This is an old building, so floor are squeaky, walls are thin, doors are uneven and so on. My wife hated...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The breakfast varied each day and was always generous. The managers are very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. The price was good for the benefits we received . Close to the centre of Baniff.

We spend three nights in this wonderful B&B in a room with private bath room. Beside a bed the room was equipped with a couch, table, chairs and kitchenette, and had enough space for our two bags. It was located downstairs and kept cool during warm days which was comfortable in order to get sleep at night. The bath room...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rocky Mountain B and B on our Rockies trip last month and thought it was super! Robin was very welcoming and obliging, the room was clean and comfortable and the place has character. I couldn't understand anyone who wouldn't think the same. There's unique pieces in each room, we had a cool dresser...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are an intimate high-country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue on Otter Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The building dates from 1907 and has 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge and dining room. We use excellent ingredients, serve locally roasted organic coffee and vary our menu daily. This historic mountain home is warm and spacious. It was used extensively in the '30s by CPR work crews as a boarding house. For the following forty years it was known as Douglas House and served as tourist accommodation. The Inn was fully restored in the late '80s and has had recent renovations to maintain its original character and substantial mountain charm. We have four suites, which suit small families, as well as simple and elegant double rooms. Our dining room and lounge are open to guest use during the day and there is a television in the lounge. We have private off-street parking to accommodate guests with vehicles. However, once you are in Banff many activities and walks are accessible by foot from the B&B. ... more   less
