The cabins were quaint, clean and perfect for a couple. The location is a short distance from Hwy 1 on the Bow Valley Parkway, almost mid way between Banff and Lake Louise. A great location for heading out snow shoeing, X-country skiing or shushing down the slopes at Lake Louise. The main lodge has a hot tub for soaking in... More

I booked 2 months in advance, also with 4 other couples booking their individual chalets. Even with giving them lots of business, they would not allow one of the chalets to be available before 4 pm. I repeatedly requested even an hour or two, as we were travelling with dogs (wanted to visit johnston canyon before night fall). For a... More

I'm sorry you feel that we would not accommodate you. Through the email correspondence with my team, it was explained that we could not guarantee the early arrival, however, if the room was available when you arrived we would be more than happy to check you in. Unfortunately, as you were bringing dogs, we could not "store" them for you... More

The gas fire place is not working main gas valve is shut off for some reason, jet tub not working missing the start button. Also not very clean tub was... More

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time with us. I'd like to address some of your comments and concerns. The lodge layout for our Pet- Free Suites, is more like the hotel rooms (side by side and not an individual cabin), so there is the potential of guests hearing some noise from their neighbours. Both the... More

Family of four and our dog, stayed in a deluxe1 bedroom cabin for three nights. We were told they were sold out, but we didn't hear a sound (aside from the occasional train). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not in your face, our dog loved the grounds, as did we, and the cabins... More

Thank you for your review. It's always nice to hear our guests were able to get some relaxing in, especially during the hectic Christmas and New Years season. We pride ourselves on being a family friendly resort, which we believe adds to our quaint atmosphere. Looking forward to hosting you again. Happy New Year! More

Overall this is a very good place to stay! Our cabin was very cozy, it was great to come back to it each night after a long day of skiing. The hot tub was perfect for our sore muscles too! Our little kitchen was adequate for making breakfasts and dinners. A few tips: The kitchen is only stocked with dishes,... More

We really appreciate your positive feedback and comments. The Pine Chalets (the cabin type you stayed in) have the furnace close to where the bed is which is why I believe you found the noise louder than normal. Usually, however, it should not be as bad as you wrote, so I will have my Maintenance person look into it, as... More

We spent November 11-15, 2015 in Cabin #8. What a wonderful place!! Everything you could possibly need and more! The staff is top-notch! Very friendly and helpful. Always working around the property to keep it looking great! We had about a foot of snow while there, and had a temporary power outage. The staff called us, left us a note... More

Wow!! So great to hear you enjoyed your stay. The power outage affected everyone past the Town of Banff, into Lake Louise. Thankfully the power company was on it quickly enough so that it was only down for a few hours. The mountains are such a beautiful place but can't offer the accessibility of what the cities offer; that is... More

Our family recently stayed in a one bedroom deluxe chalet. We found it to be mostly clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to cook any meal that we required. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the stone fireplace. The bathroom was very large with a nice Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. We choose the... More

It's always great to hear that our guests took full advantage of the amenities we offer on site. I always like hearing that guests are still BBQ'ing in true Canadian fashion (rain, snow or shine). I'm not sure what bedding had the dog hair, as we strip our rooms completely when there is a check out, but I appreciate your... More

Was quite the surprise from my boyfriend. We arrived and it was so much more than I expected. It was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, and the fire place was my favorite part! We had a great 3 day weekend! Would definitely stay again and I already recommended it others!

I stayed in a Pine Chalet. Clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, nice grounds, and wonderful fire pits for social gathering. I've read several reviews where there were complaints about the train noise. Yes, there are trains that go by on a regular basis. Perhaps it's more of a nuisance in the summer months when visitors have windows open, but I... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time and were comfortable during your stay. Yes, the train noise seems to be the general comment made in most of the reviews, however most people who stay here do seem to appreciate the added atmosphere the train gives. It's a big part of the history of... More
