Lloyd hall is outdated and over priced, facility is also not accessible for special needs/handicap. Rooms were not cleaned properly, we were constantly requesting our needs over the phone. The atmosphere however is beautiful, scenic and I was disappointed with the rooms only. Not worth the cost.

Stayed at Banff Centre for a conference on May long weekend. The temperature in our guest room was unbearably warm. Our baby woke multiple times throughout the night due to the heat and we had difficulty falling asleep. When we called the front desk they asked if we tried turning the thermostat down... ummm YA! The window cracked only a...

The location and the views are spectacular. However the rooms and the cost are not sufficient. The room was not very clean or comfortable, basic amenities like lighting and heating were broken. The linens were old and stained. The staff was mediocre and indifferent.

The Banff Centre has many events going on throughout the year. We were there for the performances from a singer-songwriter workshop in March. Staying at the Banff Centre was very convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, there was a good restaurant close by, and the venues for the performances were also close. Downtown Banff was within walking distance. As...

There are delicious food, fresh air, warm-heart staff full of experience. Also, the place with sofa, tables, which is comfortable for a discussion of mathematics! All of these make sure a wonderful time at Banff Center.

I was here for a conference, but would have happily stayed for a holiday. The eve is in the middle of the park- surround by fantastic mountains- and little way out of Banff itself. Lots of facilities wonderful gym and pool. And pretty good dining- cafe, cafeteria or classy as you choose. Seems to be a lot on artistically- performances,...

I would wait until the hotel construction/restoration has been completed. Construction/restoration work is going on all around the hotel, both inside and outside and on every floor. To get to your room you will need to go through the construction areas. Expect to get a poor night sleep due to the construction noise, use the stairs rather than the elevators,...

This is not super deluxe- but don't let that sway you! It is a really amazing place to stay---and everything about it is wonderful. The dining room is brilliant- it was snowing when we were there and it was like being in a snowglobe.

Stayed one night in the newly renovated guest rooms in the Lloyd Hall building. The new rooms are fantastic! Although they are relatively small, these new rooms are very well designed and have everything you need close at hand - a HUGE improvement from the old rooms in this building. Once the renovation is complete (new lobby, exterior, signage, etc.)...

“Several rooms have balconies. Campus has several buildings including restaurants, gallery, wine bar, hosts music and performance events. Fantastic facilities, great pool, climbing wall, fitness centre. 10 minute walk to town. Rooms are kept in good condition. Hiking trails and views in every direction. A different Banff experience from busy downtown.”
